Riding my horse and stop at a spot screen lock up. Out on my ship shooting at a Goldmont Small Battleship witch is a 1 shot kill hit it take no damage and sec later pop up on the other side of ship and kill it with another shot. I check and it shows i have 100fps but it seem the Server are not keeping up were thing are and it been happening like this from when Pearl Abyss took over and wonder if they are just using low grade server then we had before.
They rent the cheapest server for coal.
Each server has some limitations (although they can easily deal with 50k players simultaneously) so it will never get better becasue millions of profits from BDO are "not enough" for PA to spend on game infrastructure.

Amazon have the *best server in the world* and New world still run Like shit H24 7/7 since release.
That the actual proof that what ever the money you have, its actualy Physicaly,Realisticly impossible to have good server.
that the actual fact of the reality.
Server cannot do better what ever thier power.
its the whole rooting and world-wide network that is the bottleneck. and nothing can be done with that.
Light speed is not even enough.
Maybe it's not the servers but the game and how it loads stuff (i am not a pro just having a thinkover)
Sadly, these fundamental issues they have with game performance are seemingly their achilles heel when it comes to many content upgrades/improvements (for example, by their own admission it basically sunk ocean content). I don't think desync/stuttering/lack of performance will ever go away though PA's been saying they'll work on fixing it now for many years. I guess the take home message is don't try to make your own game engine if you lack experience/expertise/etc. PA's effort and engine is unfortunately a shining example of what can go wrong.
