Hi!

Shai recently got a new skill that allow us to surf on our florang, giving us a massive speed boost. This skill is activated by press W+RMB and the skill itself is amazing (thank you <3).

Problem: Something I often do is I fast forward with SHIFT+W and then throw a florang using RMB. Before the new skill arrived this worked wonders however now I often end up surfing and that's a major problem (for me at least). Sometimes I'm also under the impression that I activate it without having clicked the combo due to lag or something (like I move forward, release the W and then press RMB) but that could be me imagining it as well, I just know I'm surprised that I suddenlly start surfing. No idea if anyone else feels the same.

My suggestion: Having a movement skill that's slow to start and stop accidentally trigger is a horrible experience and as such I'd like to suggest that the activation combo is changed from W+RMB to W+E, seeing as our E-skills are less used in general and neither are used while actively chasing someone/something or moving around (in my experience).

Anyone else share my experience and if so have any better suggestions? I'm aware that I'm not the greatest player out there so if it's only me, feel free to laugh at my clumsiness but for me, this is a major problem and I'm considering locking the skill >_<

I second this. It is really annoying if you are late to release W.
Also, tuck and roll doesn't switch back to florang skills from talent sometimes.
And your character just rolls forward instead of dashing with shift+w.

Not like i expect them to fix it.

At one hit spots I used to Shift+W+RMB that's not available anymore I would imagine.

You can still dash and rmb, but you have to release shift+w before hitting rmb, or else, off you go.

Yippee! is getting to be super annoying. I keeps firing off while only hitting RMB. Even if I'm not hitting W, so long as there's still momentum of the character moving forward it goes off.

they made a change since January allowing us to quickslot Yipee!, quickslot and lock the skill eliminates the accidental uses which are generally awful

one downside of quickslot is that you cannot Yipee! cancel from flute when rebuffing, but I still prefer the quickslot to the awful keybind
