As much as i've been excited about the reboot, the end result came out rather miserable.
The latest addition in global labs of AP to below 260 AP doesn't make up for the problem that with 300+ AP and 1-2 accuracy accessories, it feels as if we do no damage, realistically feeling the same as before the reboot.
Here are the more problematic parts:
- Elementization improvements still don't make up for the skill being rather useless in majority of the situations and has no reason to justify such high CD on the skill.
Suggestion: Full SA will make a bit better, and honestly iframe at least on the start part would make it actually useful.
- Call of earth is still slow, animation locking that doesn't justify the damage using it. Downsmash is not enough.
- Toxic flood, call of earth and other previous-pet skills Do not increase damage if you gain AP or critical buff addons afterwards.
- Using tett's blessing with voltiac feels as if the skill is slowed. A lot of players have mentioned it on the discord. On top of that, currently there isn't too much of a reason to switch between the pets in situations (Compared to wizard for example which has 1 aggressive damage pet and 1 more defensive-slow type pet)
- The nerfs pre release of rework after the removal of the AP pet made it feel as if nothing improved. We don't just need PVE buffs, we need meaningful PVP buffs to not make us literally heal/pa bots that GL having it up with the amount of damage that you keep introducing in the game.
- Barrage of lightning. first of all, rename to Baptism of lightning. We loved the name from the global lab names. its way better. but more importantly, its impact gets problematic. While attempting to hit players may seem as if its on point, it doesn't do any damage.
And don't forget about awakening wizard too. even if it is in slightly better state, their Barrage of water is still buggy and their call of fire suffer the same as call of earth.
Please look into these things.
Meow.

this NEEDS to be done 2 weeks ago.
On the matter of Elementalization, I totally agree that it's missing a lot of marks.
What's cool about the keybinds S + SPACE is that it doesn't have any Staff conflicts: Why not allow the skill to be used while equipping staff, swapping to spheras. It'd give Awakening a interesting way out of staff to cover Heal / PA / poke transitions back to awakening.
Also, the unprotected gap at the end... What is it for? If the gap is important, it could be interesting to turn the skill to something similar to Prime: Earthquake : Evade because it's about the same skill except for the stiffness attack at the end. At the very least, it might punish opponents attempting to grab us when our timing was superior to theirs instead of just looking innocently at them unable to act after Elementalize.

They added the gap at the end bc they wanted to add counterplay to classes and therefore gaps in protections. This is not the exact quote but something they stated themselfes in one of their streams i believe.
While i think the attempt is a good one i absolute dont understand why noone else seems to have any willfully inclided gaps then. I just dont see it on other classes because all of em are basicly 100% protected all the time and as a class without grab or anything remotely fast to punish anything and with them also taking away slow stacking from us this seems more of a bad joke. Thats just another big fck u for awa casters. Thx pa
It sounds like what you and everyone else is saying is that Pearl Abyss failed their responsiblity and community since day #1 to current. The answer is clear PVE servers. It's time to put an end to this eternal incompetence that will never be resolved ;)
It's time for PA devs to face the facts. They will never be good enough to implement a worthwhile PVP system and shouldn't be trying to force it on customers.
Stop derailing topics please... :/
From the OP
"We don't just need PVE buffs, we need meaningful PVP buffs to not make us literally heal/pa bots that GL having it up with the amount of damage that you keep introducing in the game."
This has been an ongoing issue for years and at NO POINT during the entire history of BDO was it ever addressed nor was ANY reasonable attempt done to correct it.
Thus I am perfectly correct in responding that the more probable answer is PVE servers. People have been complaining about this issue for YEARS straight and the result is: Absolute Zero Progress
even pve servers dont really address the issue of bad 1v1 classes not being able to farm arsha.
