I imagine the desert of valencia full of event where mobs ( elten etc ) excavate ancient ruins ( in sandstorms for sure ) to rebuild their ancient city ( Spawning randomly in the whole desert )

The actual portals shoud be completely rework as instant dungeons "option" i mean you can enter as usual to grind or questing and you can also enter the ruins as a dungeon with Boss ( party of 5 etc )

So players of bdo must help cleaning the desert from thoses mobs but at the same time protect the life skillers who must gather the rought stone and other precious ores from thoses ruins ( Life skillers as we know are weak DP so they are easy target for mobs ), the faster life skiller works the longer it takes for mobs to rebuild their city. some very strong mobs can pop sometimes to defend their own excavating teams. Yeah this is team work with life skiller, coz life skill matter right

Mobs of valencia could succeed in reviving the Giant Elten after excavating their Huge city ( covering most of the central desert ), this Giant Mob getting alive from the power of their city would instantly target Valencia city as a PvE event to defend Valencia... The players at this rate have to defend the city and NPCs ( if NPC dies, no more market place, blacksmith, etc for 1 day or more... ) the difficulty, number and Strength of this invasion shoud be calculate from the effort that players invested in the desert trying to supress the mobs excavating 

I see this system as an exemple for a full PVE rework instead of the VERY REPETITIVE / BORING / SENSELESS / MIND LOSING grinding system we have atm... same rotation for 600h... great...most of ppl just quit the game after 1000h at best coz of that 

You DEVs Big Brains lack imagination, must make this wonderfull world ALIVE. This game lack of sense. Mobs are empty of sense... why are they here? why are we killing them? no good reason 

but with this kind of event there is a reason = Surviving their invasion, rigth? without their NPCs valencia would feels dead... NPCs Life matter ! 

Result of a successfull invasion of the mobs: many npc dead, market place npc, blacksmith npc, storage npc, horse npc ( respawning in 24h-36h later depending how good/bad the invasion was ) Oh you have 100 mas? sadly since invasion was lost, the mas have 1h cooldown... sadge... you cant summon more than 3 also as long as the market npc is not respawing lol... very sadge

Result of Players success in defending: Drop buff whatever, no taxes at market place for 1 item? k but something really rewarding from the npcs of valencia who are gratefull

Frequency of the invasion: every months ( depends how mutch effort player invest in cleaning the desert )

Well this is a ear to make the pve with more sense , for Balenos ( i see the goblins as a real threat to the players and npcs of Velia, we all know that Gobelin knap womens and do..humm bad things to her in their caves xD, Players must save Jetina! from being rape obviously lets push to this extend to make it more realistic and feels the life of npc or gobelin viciousness ), calpheon, grana etc etc same thing the mobs in every region are empty sockets...i believe that in most of grinding zone, mobs dont have enougth aggro range, we want to be submerged by mobs ( Like at Imps on Elvia where we can pop a lot of elite mobs, but we need this on every spot )

PvE system Rework pls or die like all the other mmos... its not the new grind zone that will change that fact " BORING" yea pvp is the greatess point of bdo but you do pve to gear up and then to pvp better... so if the pve sux there is no point in pvping in bdo. Some ppl says " i like doing meat, mining stone, whatever" LIES, its sux extremly bad without a reason to do it its the same as grinding mobs in endless rotation BORING

Short and clear answer: Probably never. All this is pretty much a very tall order.

This sounds like some WoW reject content, and the reason WoW died.  I like the PvE how it is vs the abomination you came up with. 

i never played wow before but i heard it has one of the best pve so it can be alike i dont care, all matter is the fun, your endless rotation is stupid... Find me someone who can say : " I love grinding in BDO " ( after playing a few months/ years ), most of them will tell you: " we Must do it "... 

It reminds me when i watch some streamer on bdo, do you know why they stream bdo grinding content? its not becoz ppl love to watch a streamer grinding in endless rota lol ( maybe a few masochist does ) but its becoz the streamer himself is waiting for viewers to talk to him so that way he dont feel the hours spent in this Boring content
