It's only been less than two weeks of PA publishing and these threads already came out
Black Desert Online - Legendary Bundle: False Advertising and PA Refusing to Honor Listing
Anyone else lost an item from MP ?
These are some of the ones I found and of course this happen on a much larger scale. PA is not honoring transactions that happen due to their fault and is giving players the stick for it. I am actually glad I am not on the receiving end of it cos dang would I be annoyed at this scam
It's being really concerning to me that us community is somehow okay with PA doing this and even defending it instead of condemning it. How far low are we into being a fangirl over a multimillion company.
So many comments from people are along the line of
"You got a good deal why do u complant about it"
"If you don't like it just issue a chargeback, u will get banned tho but its not my business"
"It is what it is, you can't do anything"
"PA did a typo and have no obligation to honor the transactions"
"If you don't like it just don't play BDO theres many more carebear MMO out there to cater you babies"
If you say "there's nothing you can do about it anyway" to actually defend PA's action you are actually part of a problem. Being vocal condemning it might actually push PA to rethink how they solve it instead of enabling them.
PA: what you guys will leave the game? Please do so we get enough money from you guys already xD you guys will still play it somehow. Why? Because you spend shit tons of money already.
Player: ......
It clearly states that the silver would be returned for those items.
The maintenance that followed also clearly stated that. If for whatever reason players did not get their silver back, they can submit a ticket and the GM's will look into it. PA can and will take back items that were sold/traded incorrectly as a result of a bug, its common practice across the industy so I'm not sure why people get in so much of a fuss about it.
You can continue to spread misinformation reguarding rules that were very clearly outlined and explained to us in far more details than Kakao ever did before the GDT even happened, or you can read the maintenance, event and patch note notices, as well as the terms of service and understand that these things were already as I said, clearly outlined on numerous occasions.
If it makes you feel any better, I think it was a pretty shitty solution to the problem too.
They should have let you keep the costume and refunded you the difference.
How is fixing a bug and resolving the effects of that bug considered a scam?
Lol Whut?
Same old players finding anything at all to complain about BDO. Just move on and ignore.
