So, if anyone would like an update.

Support is pretty useless and and replying with canned responses saying go do this quest a hundred times to get back to 0 karma.

A friend created a new account to test the bug, this new account started with 100940 positive karma. Hadn't even finished the movement tutorial that new accounts to go through yet still has over 100k positive karma.

Not interested in playing new account karma roulette until I finally get one with > 0 karma, even if new accounts are only $10, so I'm done with this game.

Toxic yes, to some degree, but the character stats looked weird, so you have to make allowances for suspicion. People tend to down vote you all the time, just because you give opinion here.  Toxic and most video games go hand in hand, I learned to be more thick-skined about it.

Since this character was leveled by another player, as Kiingzy stated, is it possible their friend did something, that would cause the naval fame to go red for both?

I never leveled that way, since I played Guild Wars almost a decade ago.  I found it makes for a real bad experience.  A "friend" power leveled me, dragging my character through that game. The next thing I knew, I was lost, and had to start a new character just to work things out.  I am simply stating, leveling a brand new first time character in such a way is never a good idea.

When you submit your ticket you should mention who leveled you, so they can tell, if this was the fault of the negative score.
