Don't be surprised, like Pruim said, folks still struggling w/ Sage...well, you know. Hopefully he gets some love soon.

Hopefully someone from PA sees these posts and realizes that they ruin a really great class that would appeal to a lot of people...just check out your youtube videos with class presentations and read comments there of how enthusiastic people were when Sage was first revealed, both succ and awa trailers...

I used to play sage and it was a lot of fun. Sadly I saw the 100 dollars exp change coupon and bought one. 

Maybe this is intentional to get ppl like me to fork over $$$ after getting frustrated.

8 months later after this post and the class is even worse. Truly mind boggling.

All in all, they managed to nerf him more in the last updates.

The Bolt > Rift chain changes, the loss of Front guard on Shock Relay and the changes to Impaling Flash are still very bad in my opinion.

"Bu ... But, they gave an iframe back to Bolt" ... Well, not really. The Iframe only activates on overcharged bolt, when bolt itself is not on cooldown .... Preciesly the way overcharged bolt is the less used, because overcharged bolt is mainly used when normal bolt is on cooldown, and it is not what can be considered as a reactable Iframe anyways (if you have to use a skill before activating you Iframe dash, no, you can't use it on reaction).

So yeah, for awak at least, my general feeling is that it ended in another nerf, and it seems that as Korean players don't like the class anyways, we are kinda screwed.

At this point though PA should realize that the community has spoken as evidenced by this thread, Sage has the highest liked post on these forums with the subject matter of him needing some buffs to be relevant in the meta. I don't get why this is difficult for them.

Because like every korean dev, they only, or at least first and foremost care about korean feedback, as it is easier for them to collect (no translation nedeed, a more direct and avalaible source from their main target audience), and korean players hate Sage. That's why I said the players who actually really like the class, once the FOTM has vented out, are kinda screwed. Some issues, such as giving terrain check back to some skills (Lightning prison and its flow for ewample), weren't even considered.

On the other hand, korean players adore Sorc. That's why she never suffered the same treatment.

Treatment? No, I would call it an EXECUTION. Succ Sage was a pretty fun grinder but average at best, it had a unique playstyle that was very similar to Succ Guardian. But man, they absolutely obliterated that class with completely random PVE ratio nerfs. Going by self reported grind hours from Garmoth dot Com, absolutely NO ONE is playing it anymore. I get how Koreans can hate the PVP aspect of Sage but come on man why nerf its PVE?

1 year later after release; Balance grief. This class requires an iq of over 9000, if you can't get a kill you're a noooooob. No really though this isn't an easy class to utilize well right now. Don't even bother in Red Battlefield unless you like being bottom. In all seriousness, Sage is currently feed tier(on average)highest C+ with some skill. 1v1 is alright cause of grab(awakening), but thats about tits. Pve is Pve. PA gutted them to a point where they are unrecognizable from their original state. Just a shadow of what they used to be. These long unprotected cast animations followed by getting burned through super armor is a continuous trigger for most new comers. The numerious nerfs to Sage in the last year, and the reworking of other classes has left this Sage kit in a rather poor undesirable state. The class is predictable, wind up long enough for the player to iframe behind you and backattack, or charge grab. PA has favorites, and Sage isn't one of them. They should just revert the nerfs slowly until it's back to par.
