Winter Season 2022 Truvala Gear Conversion is Unclear

I really appreciate the way Pearl Abyss explained the conversation exchange mechanics in the Season+ post after the Summer season, but everyone I know is left guessing if we're still on that format for Winter Season 2022 or not? I know many who think it's both way. Can someone please clarify--are we having our season characters gear auto converted for us again at the end of this season or will something else occur?

The auto conversion format should be the same as previous seasons (it was like that since the start of this content). But we will make sure to clarify this on a notice once the ending of the season is close.

Just to clarify though, you can still only do the conversion once per family? I mean the conversion of pen tuvala (family gear) to TET boss gear.
Or are we just talking about PEN Tuvala from season gear to Pen Tuvala family gear.
