Hi!
As of right now, vocal customisation is an option in the game, however it has never been a global feature. This customisation only plays locally (on your client), whereas other players will hear your class' default voice.
I believe this is a small quality of life change that would bring more diversity to the characters; hearing the same default voices over and over again constantly gets old very quickly and it's very disappointing to know that the customisation option is essentially useless since it doesn't change globally. This is a feature that already exists in most MMOs, so why not this one?
I would love to hear more about the viability of this, so please let me know if this is something that could be implemented in the future.
Thanks!
I have posted another thread raising the issue, if seen from a quality perspective this is a feature that clearly is NOT WORKING PROPERLY, since every other customization available to player characters actually makes it into the online game, while voice customization alone remains client sided.
This is not a minor feature, it's a very important part of character creation, why isn't this area of customization not functioning in the same way that all others do?
I made my warrior to look like a 40ish man, and I customized the voice to fit his appearance. It sounds great.... on my end.
It's not cool to know thay for other players he is a grown man with the voice of a 15yr old kid.
in fact, it sucks, we need this to be implemented.

I whole heartedly agree, coding of this nature really should not be terribly difficult, but brings more diversity to our characters increasing immersion and quality of life, to which the game and the Devs need to concentrate on to a degree.
