If they could allow one low cost tag with a time restriction (1 per month?), I think we could have a good solution.

Yeah, it's not like you could make lvl60 characters with free gear to test them...
Only problem with that is you can't test how a character grinds, I do like the Trials for PvP testing, but only vs other Trial characters so everyone is on an even playing field.

Love it, a litteral flavor of the month tagging feature. I would however like to be able to have 2 tags instead of just 1 personally.

You can test lower spots with narchian/cp weapons and your main's gear for the rest of the slots, or you can just go to the global labs....
If it would be free once per month, then they might aswell simply make it free at all time, as noone would pay that way...
This was hidden by admin due to the reports it has received.

The design seems to still have a few defects. If you upgrade Caphra's on a main character the tagged character will maintain those boosts. However, in switching/upgrading gear it does not. It doesn't seem appropriate at end game when it costs billions to retag to do so for a PEN accessory for example. Or people that may obtain a TET Distortion etc depending on where they are.
The ability for limited retagging help resolve this issue.
Additionally, keep in mind that changing gear can also occur with new equipment that did not exist at the time of tagging.
You're right, and as the accessories do not participate in the tagging cost, it would be nice to be able to tag them without additional costs.

Items copy for tag char should be free. Period.
Astronomical price of this system makes ... it makes no sense.
I tag and untag chars many times so items copy function is unavailable to me.

Free retagging means that the weapon swap coupons would become useless.

I have 2x full weapons swap coupons and ... I don't need them.
Cost of adapting the second character to be playable is so high that even the current almost free copying of items did not convince me to do so. Tagging for people like me (life skill) has too many limitations, and secondly: I often tags different characters.

In a sense, it would help them in tracking down classes which overperform / underperform... Just by following tags XD.
