Lost ark is new and has many streamers no-lifing it right now, of course it has more viewers.
I also dont really get why this matters, mmos are pretty boring to watch, almost all of them are gunna be doing the exact same thing, grinding, enchanting, and group content, or lifekskills if that game has it.

Kinda of dishonest. Not sure I would call them "real dungeons" many are literally zone in kill a 1 or 2 bosses and leave; you complete most of the "dungeons" in under 5-10 mintues. No idea what cancer players even means but I can assure you lost ark has them they do have less ways ot influence your gameplay because no open world PVP. The cash shop has terrible pricing some of the stuff is super over priced. You actually lie your ass on on the questing, lost ark is literally FORCED QUESTING R SPAM you literally can't do anything without spamming r dogcrap quests for hours and hours. As far as TPing goes yes you can tp with in their tiny zones and that saves like 10 seconds running because the zones are so tiny, when you get to the islands you actually cant TP from island to island you have to take the liner, and there is no autopathing so you have to manually run everywhere.
Lost ark is a good game, but mostly it's new its also highly over rated and after 1 month the population will plummet fast as the game devolves into doing the same couple super short raids (not actually raids like people thiink in lost ark raid is literally zone in kill 1 boss leave), and tiny dungeons on all your alts to grind mats for an RNG upgrade system on a very strict weekly and daily limit.
You can skip the spam "g" for quest with alt with the power pass because lost ark devs know how boring it is to do the quests..
In bdo, PA devs did everything to make you bored as much as possible in the game, they even put levels with rewards for those who were the most bored doing their quests..
on the one hand you have devs who want to see the players have fun and remove everything that is boring
And on the other hand, you have devs who force you to do something super boring and add rewards if you're dumb enough to do it...

Yes but Lost Ark end game:
- almost same s. enchant system (but much better) as in BDO (40% chance not 3% like in BDO, and you only lose mats for enchant not item lvl (or cancer disappearance of accessories) like in BDO)
- daily limited timed dungeons.
So I will stay as 99% afk in bdo, criticizing Pearl Abyss' inaction.
- maybe, but those mats you mention are harder to get at end game, and aren't they time gated too? And surprisingly you can also get them through loot boxes.

Guess everyone jumped ship to Lost Ark. That winter region...by the time it arrives here, ppl would be like "BDO? what's that? a banking company?"
it is not so bad we are still over 10000 players on steam
lost ark mostly eat new world players than black desert and seem ff 14 suffer worse than us, but elder scroll online look fine ^_^
anyway cloud already coming to lost ark, steam player look already upset against the game and rumor suggest the game has p2w

This is the exact problem with the T10 horses. Time gated behind a daily quest. If you skip a day you fall behind, start late never catch up. I can't imagine anyone trying to compete in LA that starts 6 months from now.

im sure smilegate will find a way- theyve been a very noob friendly dev in their other games

I had a friend switch from BDO to Lost Ark, but he had been anxiously anticipating its arrival to NA for years.
The game doesn't appeal to me at all. "If you liked Diablo 3, you'll love this game", my friend said. I wasn't all that impressed with Diablo 3 and Torchlight 2 in 2012. If an isometric ARPG couldn't keep me interested in 2012, seriously doubt it will in 2022. I debated playing with my friend, and watched several Youtube reviews, but just couldn't get interested enough to burn my SSD lifespan to download and install it. I admit the characters look pretty badass in character creation, but most of the time they're going to look like ants fighting ants anyway.
My friend told me he got up to lv 48 on the first day and the cap is 50. I asked if the only content left is just multiplayer dungeons and stuff, he said, "Yep". I never really got into dungeons, so definitely not regretting sitting this one out.

How are twitch viewers any indication about how many people is playing the game? I'd think it would be the opposite, since if they are watching a stream, they aren't playing themselves.
It's how business work. More advertising, more peeps are actually playing. It doesn't matter if the game is good. Although when the advertising is done, it shoudn't go massively backward.
