Hi, wanted to post I have both infinite potions. I think everyone should be able to get it and the suffering and wasted time on my part was a bit bonkers.
This should swap to a system x amount of frags can be exchanged for potion piece, so if you spend 1k hours at a spot you are almost guarantteed to get it. That number should be alot closer to 50-100 hours.
Anyone complaining about other players have it easier is just wanting to be a bully.
Keep it as it is but make potions weightless.
I'm grinding for this piece now (last piece I need) and its fine the way it is. They could improve it by adding another mob that can drop it. Not sure why Manshaum piece has only the Shaman mob that can drop it out of ALL the pot pieces, including the health piece. Kinda dumb actually.
I mean the Halfmoon piece drops like fruitcakes it feels like these days. Almost feels as if BDO caved in to demands and made it drop a lot more. IF they did do this, I think they should probably make the Manshaum piece drop more too, its only fair. But if not, adding another mob that could drop the piece would GREATLY improve the chance of this piece dropping more often for sure. OR even make the drop switch from Shaman to some more abundant mobs in the forest like the little hunters or something....the combination of Shaman rarities and only from Shaman is a killer grinding combo.
Also lots of PvP in this area as highly geared players also pursue this which kinda gives no chance at all for more lower geared players. Also all the PvP I've encountered is really becoming a bit bothersome in grinding in this spot itself for this piece as you don't really get a "solid" hour of grinding ~usually but not always. Also it gets really irritating and annoying when players just go around killing ONLY THE SHAMAN mob.
Anyways..
Was lucky enough to get both potions, and I still back up the idea that something should be done about this. I don't think drop rate needs to be touched, but they should either make more mobs drop it, or just leave that ''treasure event'' where pieces drop on other areas permanently. The fact that 3 Tshira mobs drop the piece, and only 1 mob drops it in other areas is dumb.
Making that event permanent would already help enough players, and there would be a lot less drama concentrated on this single spot.
... But sadly, PA really likes player drama in their game. Which is sad, imo.
