Hello PA, have you noticed that the Spellchecker button doesn't exist? It also looks like you are using the Tiny MCE editor (it literally says it at the bottom right of it) which is great although I'm not really familiar with it, but please add the spellcheck toggle button. I have no idea if I made typos and I like to proofread with that button usually at the end of what I write. It already has a button for the browser's default spellchecker I think because I see it here on this editor itself:
<body id="tinymce" class="mce-content-body " data-id="txtContent" spellcheck="false" contenteditable="true">
Even if it has to be a custom javascript command, it's so easy. Please, I beg you. Add the spellchecker button <3
That's not spell checker button, and all they would need to do is literately change a flag from true to false in the init:
https://www.tiny.cloud/docs/general-configuration-gue/spell-checking/#browser-basedspellchecking
btw you can write client side script to fix their shit, if you really care.
Open your favorite text file with spell check built in. Type out your reply there, highlight Control + C, Control + V problem solved.
That's not how you solve problems.

Yes, I made a greasemonkey script to fix it for them already lol.
Question: why this forum removes the phrase "id"?
Every time I want to write (copy paste) eg. word "didn't" "id" disappears.

What it looks like is a sort of HTML filter for post content that isn't working properly. "class" is also frequently removed. Both that and "id" are common attributes on HTML tags.
There's lot wrong with this site. It's amusing seeing what they consider important to fix in the weekly patch notes.

When I pasted the HTML code in the chat it changed everything, it was strange. Agreed, this might be a Tiny MCE issue or it might be a poor implementation of it, IDK. I built my own WYSIWYG editor for my own projects and there are better solutions for corporate than Tiny. The problem is cost and the editor does just fine without having to spend a thousand bucks a month on licensing for something better.
But some things are really bizzare like the ID when pasting issue and of course the banner at the top that tells you to register when you're logged in. It doesn't really stick out entirely either. Right now it's the expansion banner but once that is out and they bring the register banner back, it'll be bugged again xD
Eh, I post what I see and if they decide to fix it they fix it. I won't hold my breath since GMs/CMs don't seem to reply to confirm they noticed the thread/issue.

Yeah the quality of their web developers are just as bad as their game developers are.
Imagine they pay money to someone, to implement a 100% pointless yet annoing feature, and the dude is so incompetent that he can't even do it properly kek.

To be fair, they probably collect a list of changes to make and send it to a third party web team. Usually game companies will outsource this since there's no need to keep a full-time web developer but you never know, maybe they have a game dev who also does web dev and is the one maintaining the site. IDK. Hopefully thye will add spellchecker, I am a terrible typist without the red underlines. :P
The copy and paste issue is probably a Tiny MCE issue specifically and not a PA thing. TBH converting clipboard data into web-safe html is not easy but that editor should support it for being so popular and well, wealthy. Copying from MS Word for example will paste a lot of junk code, it's awful.

You see the internet is not a new invention, and if you google you literately find plethora of FREE forum engines over there that is much better than this one.
What I can't understand is why they trying to reinvent the wheel if they clearly doesn't even understood how the wheel works in the first place?
And this not only applies to PA. Loot of incompetent companies thinks they are smart, when they burn their own money and produce worse ressults than the literal free ones...
