Since a month and half, game is really empty.

Cities are empty, arenas are empty, NW are empty. Only the new RBF seems to be alive for the moment.
But players left. Of course, we'll always see some player in the game, but they are mostly AFK fishing or in the front of the storage / market. For those players, they aren't even hype for the new region or the new class, they just play because they can't leave the game after putting 10K euros or beacuse they hope to see a big rework of the game.

The lack of contents is insane right now. After six years, we feel it now. The direction of Pearl Abyss made  BDO empty. They just exploited the fact that no other games were able to compete BDO.
This content was simple : Region -> New Class -> PVP changes -> New Class -> NW Changes -> PVP changes -> New Class -> New Class -> PVP changes etc.
To be honest, this content can be good but the only problem, it's just not fun. 

There is no fun in BDO.

Let's talk about class.
The only thing which makes your character "unique" it's his look.
But for rest, we are all the same.
If you look a warrior and another warrior. You have only two different spec, Succession or Awakening.
But they are same because you always to same combo no matter the spec, you do the same move. Of course, you can create your own combo but some combo doesn't ask a lot of APM, and they can destroy most of classes.
So why will you try to find a combo when it can be less effective than a basic one ?

You can't even really custom your skill, you can put some addons and that's it.
And you can't even custom your weapon. If you are succession Warrior, you'll always use a longsword with a shield. And when you are awakening, it's always a greatsword.
And of course, Gender Lock.


About gear, it's all the same. Since they want to do Fallen God gear, we will all finish with the same armor. Accessory build is the same, you take the most effective for your class.
Same for crystals (full RBF because stupid DMG).

Grinding is the same thing over and over. Maybe with some little difference but that's it. Before we were grinding for fun and to PVP.
Now it's just grinding to rush everything.
There is no fun, it's just a rush insinde a rush inside another rush. We rush all the time.


PVP is just "play top classes" "play a class which do 1 v X without any effort, with protected DMG, protected CC and protected mobility aka Kuno, DK or Sorc and then tell players how hard it is".
Nothing else to say.

Life skill is just some active stuff but mostly AFK activities.

So I wonder what Pearl Abyss is gonna say during the Bal. Something like "Wow thanks all, game is really alive after so many years". I guess they only look Korea. And for the rest it's just "Wow thanks all, now we can all build our third swimming pool and take another Ferrari".

Then they'll say smth like "We are currently working on many things to make the game greater" which is "We don't even know what we can do since we don't have enough devs to run BDO, so can you wait six month to see another grind spot please ? Yes another grind spot because our devs are so bad they can't even put artifacts transfusion inside the black spirit transfusion and also beacuse it cost money to do this".

Since Pearl Abyss said they'll create solo games and put BDO on console and mobile, the real BDO is just an empty game.

Wery surprising story...

There is fun on BDO. You're just in the middle of a winter depression.

Go touch some grass. Stop playing on empty channel.

I fight for my gatherings spot,  and have GvG almost every night. The game is well active specially on the lifeskilling side since drop rate event is done.
I have terrible fps while cooking because there are 100 guys who have the same house as me who Powerlevel Alchemy...

In NA everything is alive and well as it always has been.

Your feelings are absolutely not mine. Even the Guild Chat is more active that ever.

I want long hair for my class, there is not a single one. The whole game lacks hairstyles. You are going to tell me in the medieval times there was not a single girl / woman with long hair that reach above her @$$? All girls used to have short hair or ponytails? Not a single hairstyle with long hair dropped behind your characters back?

Ye i have to grind for 85 billion silver in order to reach 634 gear score. Now i have around 610. This is 3 months of making 1 billion per day, which won't ever going to happen, because i work and i have to do other stuff in real life also. So it is going to take about a year at least.

Maehwa vs ranged classes feels like you are playing Counter - Strike and you rushing with knife to the enemy team that is equiped with fully automatic rifles.

A ranged class can just move backwards while shooting at you from the other side of the map with 300+ AP.

You will just never reach him, because you don't have Grab or I-frame and their movement speed while going backwards is faster than yours moving forwards.

Also they can slow stack you on top of all of this BS.

You can enter Valencia RBF and the only people with alot of kills are playing either ranged class, or a class that can dissapear and reapear in 0,1 seconds non stop aka Ninja / Sorc etc.

Edit : forgot the ape Berserkers that jump and do 1 v 10 without feeling any dmg.

which channel is empty ? i want go there and grind in peace ^_^

with outife you can have long hair to ass, for example nova sephia or stella ranger or stella  dark knight

Too bad it's 2022 and developers are incopetent to give access to all hairstyles and outfits to all classes.

Games prior to 2.000 used to be more advanced in system mechanics than in BDO.

"Hei duh, this class should have only these type of hairstyles because [reasons]"

It's like the other thread a guy/girl made about voice types.

Some classes got more voice types than others.

Some classes get more sexy outfits than others and the list goes on and on.

It's all in the head of the developers.
