That's true, but you missed all the important parts.

Lineage 2 used to be a hardcore PVP game.  However it was full of bots/RMT/farmers/exploits as well.  Not a good combination.  But what happened to that exp loss?  In a hardcore PVP game........ what happens?  It started dimishing until it's essentially removed.  They started giving protection armor to prevent loss.  They started removing penalties.  They gave 100% rez.  Now I have a stack of 100% res chars that where created in a few hours.

So even the hardcore PVP game didn't survive with those penalties.

Btw I NEVER ran back to town from dying in Linage 2.  Even back in the days we had a network of res and I essentially Karma Bombed the entire server hardcore for a decade.  Especially once I got hold of 100% rez's.

Regardless Lineage 2 did not have the critical flaws of BDO.  You did NOT need to fight people over basic grind spots.  The game wasn't fundamentally broken like BDO.  You also typically NEVER PK to obtain a grind spot in Lineage 2.  It's nearly impossible as literally everyone multi boxes and your just going to pile on karma that will destroy your character.

i didnt remember pearl abyss sell black desert being hardcore pvp, they only say it is pvp game nothing more

because losing 0.01% at level 80 is more painfull than losing 10% at level 1, at low level you only need to kill dozen monsters to recover your lost, at high level you need to kill thousands monsters to recover your lost

so mostly you need to be in a good clan and the dude must be online to ress you, i dont see how it help new player and convince new player to stay

are you sure about it ? yes you need to fight higher clan, because if you pk the bot the owner will come with all his clan to wipe your ass and him will not have problem to pk you because he can solo you and your clan

in black desert you can still change server, in lineage 2 you watch bot grinding in best spot and that it ^_^

You are going beyond the comprehension of developers by using basic percentages.  What you said should be understand by a child, but somehow game developers fail to comprehend it.  It's probably a large part of the balancing issues.  It's not easy to do without even a basic understand of math.

How do we KNOW this?  BDO developers also put 1% exp loss into the game desmonstrating a complete lack of understanding and harm it could cause.  They are not the first or last.  It seems to be a lazy carry over from broken design years ago.

Changing servers is a misunderstanding in BDO.  I have battles with players for over 2 hours over a life skill spot simply because they refuse to be bullied.  They will spend time logging in trash red chars and any resources they can.  Even when the more efficient route would be to change servers.

However, I recently decided I wasted enough time on one of those situations just to log into another server that was over crowded anyway.  What is over crowded?  It means ONE PERSON was in the spot so I just immediately starting taking their resources ;)  I don't wait in line due to terrible game design!!! I'm a WOLF not a SHEEP!!!!

There seems to be some confusion about that.  I'm not refering to the death penalties.  The superiority is in things like

Both clans need to Dec for a War to be open kills

You can't log out in the middle of combat

You can't unflag in the middle of combat

Simple basic things that are a base requirement for a working system.  If you can't get the basics right you have no business even putting PVP in your game.

but even in dec of war you can still lose xp in pvp

nothing you show prove lineage 2 has better pvp than black desert, because the highest clan can lock grind spot and you cant move to another server, new player and new clan cant do nothing against highest clan even with help other clan

the strongest clan solo all the server and dont care to go red, but they know you cant kill them

in black desert you can still progress even the strongest guild cant stop people to grind and improve their characters or guild, the pk dude can only pk in one server, so he cant paralyze people progression 

None of that matters.  What's REAL is every single encounter I have is completely negative with people cursing at me and insluting constantly.  They absolutely despise it.  But I sometimes LOVE IT.  And Pearl Abyss wants to HIDE IT.

That's all you need to know.

It's NEVER about PVP.  It's about over crowding.  And Pearl Abyss CAN NOT ANSWER THE BASIC QUESTION.  When EVER on the entire planet under ANY condition are human beings looking to CREATE CONGESTION AND OVER CROWDING.  That is the Issue.  NONE of this is PVP.

It's defective game design that they want to push on the player base.
