Then there is the problem, why somebody complained about BDO being a sigle player game! Because the players don't want to interract with eachother for whatever reasons! And in a few other games the group content was dead, wondering why it was ruined(and it was good). Which means the players have a big problem... In their mentality! Which also further proves me right, that the problem is in us-the players, the community!
Do you see something in the acronym MMO about playing at a party? No. Every content of the party or coop is a failure because every person is different and wants to play in their own way. Additionally in the USA it may not be a problem but if you didn't know Europe has over 40 countries and over 30 "base" languages. So if the content of a party or a coop requires communication from players, the number of potential willing players becomes very small.
There is also at least one Season PvP channel. Did you forget it?
In most seasons I go to the season PVP channel so that I can PVE in peace. Mostly empty, especially late season.
The fact that this is possible says something about player choices. I just don't know what exactly.
All this conversation about a PvE server. This is something I face in seasons a lot and I wonder if this is acceptable to the community. A PVE server as is like it is in season and Olivia means I can go to any spot and out grind the person who is already there. I fail to see how that is acceptable in any sense. Until BDO makes core changes to how PvE(instances, queues, party) even works .. a PvE server makes no sense.

There are various ways to play this game, but not 1 per player. You'll always find players with the same mindset than you, unless you don't want to see them.
And the will is more important than the gaming orientation, if you want to play in a group, that's up to you.
I usually do Vell alone, but yesterday I got owned by the light saving change. When I connected on my alt, I noticed a boat and heard its passengers, they were new and looking for Vell. I guided them, gave them some tips on how to reach Vell's realm, one hour later we made a group and I informed them about Vell's attacks and other things to know...
Did I get any special reward by grouping them? No. Still it was a nice moment with enthusiastic players, far better than the gloomy attitude we can find in some efficiency-obsessed older players.
Now you'll have a guaranteed peaceful daily hour to burn your agris, scroll and various buffs like any other player. Time to stop complaining, use it wisely and don't whine if you want to do more than 1 hour of grind, play by the rules.

Right on point, but good luck trying to make them understand that.
I already explained that a pure pve channel without restriction will not magically attract pure pve players only, it will also act as a bribery for pvpve players with good gear, if they're confident that they can overgrind others, removing them for the owpvp when they have the gear to participate in it.
And here's another proof of how a small group of players is interested in open pvp in bdo.
Meanwhile, some players are complaining that they can't grind in peace and ask for pure pve channels, this tells a lot about the use of owpvp in BDO. XD
EDIT : TOO LATE BUDDY, I SAW YOU! XD

Vell is a bad example. Players only group because they are too lazy to make an extra ship and an extra character and have an alt character on this boss. By the way, they are just wasting time traveling to vell and back. Over time, nobody wants to do a taxi driver. I know because I was like that myself. And when the guild members found out that I don't go there anymore because I have alt there ... they completely forgot that vell exists. As always, I will mention that I know people who have been playing since the premiere and have never received a vell or garmoth heart. I myself got 3 vell hearts, 2 garmoth hearts and 1 pet in 2 years but nothing for last half a year. Yesterday because of this stupid time change I lost a garmoth but I was only angry for 5 seconds because it would be nothing as always.

Because bdo has a bad structure. Again I will refer to the New World where each player who attacks the mob gets their own loot. So no one can ks mobs. Also because of the cd on the channel change and the lack of fast travel, bdo players get into conflicts.
What is PA doing about it? Nothing.
TOO LATE BUDDY, I SAW YOU! XD
And as usual you lost because I didn't hide anything, I just wanted to answer everyone in one comment because here we can't edit and add another quote.

Well... New World failed big time albeit the things you mentioned and you personally like. I was told by several sources and it feels like the worse version of BDO.
I am just still collecting info about this game and trying to hear more from other various sources.

But it was not there when I edited my post. Were you really planning to put it in the next answer, or did you get trapped? We'll never know...

Vell is a perfect example that wanting to group is a mindset. And you go again about the loot, that's precisely the problem.

Not a bad structure. A different structure. Each player having his own loot emphasizes the idea that you don't need to even interact with the others, and having a recognized enemy being able to quietly pve in front of you is at best nonsensical, if not completely stupid when you think about the fact that it is faction based. BDO is not, and its restrictions make far more sense when it comes to the protection of low-levels, new players and lifeskillers.
New World should quickly choose a better path, and as it already went down the way of mainstream games he can't go back to a regulated owpvp. I mean, once you give a "no-pvp" switch to players, you can't remove it anymore.
