Why do we still have the 70% damage reduction of Shai vs striker / mystic? (gauntlets)

Is there a lore reason?

It’s now be asked for a long time and not addressed. Maybe there is a good reason. Cool! Tell us.

Why should Striker and mystic get a bonuses that no other class does? It was fixed vs ninja, it dint ‘brake the game’

Why did ninja lose it protected status vs shai yet we still have mystic and striker… aren’t they magical counter classes? Last time I checked Shai in melee.. Do your staff not know this?

I was just in RBF small match, 4v3; it was 1 Sorc and 2 gauntlets, archer vs 2 gauntlets and a shai. Zero I could do with the gauntlet classes, get them down to 50 or 70% hp at best, if the huge damage modifier was not there, myself or my team could have taken them out easy!

is it PA,s intenet to make shai a drag on the team when gauntles are present? That would be strange and creepy.

So, this isn’t just an impact on shai but the team. Yeah we won the match, but the issue is so blooming obvious and we still don’t know why PA do this…

Anyone know why. Can we please have mature input and not silly trolling :)

Combination of they don't care and listening to casual trolls who zero at game but experts on every social media.

this has very little to do with what i talked about as shai is melle class. I think you mis understud what i was saying

I have noticed that they do listen to some things... I wonder who picks what gets passed on? And what their motives are? Never see Gm’s talking about this subject even when they drop into Shai streams, they have nothing to say..why? (yet will ask the stream for advice and help on other subjects, ha, the cheek :P )

And this issue has been expressly gone over by some shai streamers, even with examples of the issues. I know myself, I have now produced feedback videos and show the issue.

Maybe Gms have passed it on and PA this its low priority? Maybe they think it’s fair – then tell us way and end this misunderstanding.

I brought it up a while back with ninja and produced videos, Then ninja got fixed, I didn’t talk about striker in such videos - my mistake... I assumed they would look at that too.. But the person in charge of such changes may not be aware of how the game functions and plays.

Ninja was kind of the same issue, it was corrected and the world did not end. So why fix one class and not another. This is very perplexing to a lot of Shai that engage in PvP.

Why gauntlets classes have be given this special privilege where they can feel safe Vs shai, whereas no other class has the same? Not even ninja. (so also unfair to othere classes)

Do you not like your pvp shai? You know it takes a lot of effort and we are getting very frustrated. Being a PvP shai is hard work, we except that, were a count of 10 RBF kills is very good. But to have something in the game, getting in our way and not reason for it, no justification, it’s just upsetting. It spoils that part of the game and builds resentment against a class.

No one respects a striker / mystics pvp Vs shai and if by chance they lose, no matter the gear, they are disgraced! It that what PA want for the game?

Mystics can’t be expected to avoid PvPing shai, that would be silly… shai can just walk away in RBF, and they do sometimes (How silly is that!) even leaving the match for the day if it’s manly gauntlets.

It’s not good for the game in this area, and we have no justification for PA choices.

Anyone that would say , 'well shais not a pvp class.' .... Looks at your self! This isn’t about that and you have missed the point /topic

One) people are Pvping on shai, fact!

Two) we are asking why one class of character has special privilege over all other classes, this has nothing to do with Shai’s PvP status. Shai’s none pvp status comes from lack of protections, and a blanket pvp reductions  to all classes, that is roughly the same, apart from vs striker /mystic, and that’s the issue.

Its for the best Pvp players.. becuse you cant be class carried. There are a few of us out there, we are repected in the Pvp crowd. Kinda cool :)

Shai is simple but complex kind of like chess. But just because something is simple doesn't mean that the possibilities aren't border-line endless. You can know the rules of Chess, you could have played for a year or two but you still won't be able to beat a chess grand champion despite the game being pretty basic. I don't know about the striker thing yet, I haven't ever encountered a striker. From experience usually the shai pickers are usually DK but they quickly find out that a well equipped shai with moderate skills is a lot tougher than they expected. And now that shai is the fastest in the game, we can chase and hunt them down lol

Btw. love the MJ design lol! It's so much more original than the loli vampires you see everywhere.
