Orc Camp is one of the Serendia spots that was recently revamped as part of the Hadum expansion. It went from a forgettable introductory spot, to an extremely lucrative and popular location. In this guide, I will share my experience grinding here for about 10 hours.

Requirements

Technically the spot requires 280 ap, but with a good grasp on the mechanics, which I will explain below, a player should be able to grind here even with 269AP with Kutum, depending on class.

Why do I grind here? (drops)

As with all Hadum spots, the income per hour in pure silver is very high. The trashloot is worth 18.5k each (https://bdocodex.com/us/item/44482/) and drops in high amounts. Moreover, the spot drops Black Magic Crystals, which you can melt for magical shards. Currently in EU their price has fallen down to 2.6mil and they are sitting at min-price, so you might want to hold onto them rather than sell them now. Also, you can obtain masses of pure magic at very high quantities.

The other major drop group of this spot is Blackstar Upgrade Materials. Even if you dont care about upgrading Blackstar Armos, these material can be sold to a vendor for very high prices. Specifically, you can obtain Seed of Void (https://bdocodex.com/us/item/8133/) and Valtarra's Flame (https://bdocodex.com/us/item/8124/). Vendoring these drops makes up for a quite significant part of the pure silver income of this spot.

However, the main reason you want to grind here are the two materials for the Ring and Necklace upgrades. Specifically, you eventually want to obtain 200x Shard of the Furious Night (https://bdocodex.com/us/item/8145/), and 100x Heart of the Arid Forest (https://bdocodex.com/us/item/8135/). The only other spot that drops these materials is Castle Ruins, which is a group spot. So if prefer solo grinding and need these Ring and Necklace upgrades you are definitely goign to want to grind here!

Note: Heart of the Arid Forest drops approximately twice as much as the Shard of the Furious Night, even though you need twice as many Shards.

Overall, the income per hour is extremely high. Here's an example of me grinding with Awakening Wizard for 1 hour:

This comes out to 350 million per hour with very low RNG (no rare drops).

Location and Rotations

The spot is located at the Orc Camp in Serendia. Here are some of the rotations you can do in this spot. Keep in mind these are not exactly rotations, more like "camps" that you can combine to form a rotation, as I will explain in the next section.

Notes about the rotations:

Disclaimer, this is my personal experience out of 10 hours

I have spent most of my time at camps 2+3, and 6+7. My belief is that combining camps 8 and 9 is the highest total income. However, I havent managed to grind those as they are almost always extremely contested.

Other popular combos are combining 2 and 4, or 6 and 4. I am sure there are other combos or camps I did not list in the figure above.

Orc Camp Mechanics

The biggest part of grinding Orc Camp effectively is understanding the mechanics which I am going to explain here, as well as how to make optimal use of them.

All Orc mobs are generally buffed by Dark Energy by Hadum. This means that they take EXTREMELY little damage (its as if they have Protected Area up). Before killing them you must first debuff the mobs.

Step 1: Locate your camp. Each camp listed above is defined by an inert orb of light at its center. Heres what it looks like.

At first these Orbs do nothing but show you the location of the Camp. Once you complete all the steps, this Orb will turn into an enormous area that heavily debuffs mob HP and DP and allows you to farm them. They end up slightly tankier than Stars End mobs after you complete these steps.

Step 2: Locate the Orc Prisons. Every camp I listed above has approximately 5-6 Orc Prison scaterred nearby. You first need to kill those. IGNORE THE MOBS AT THIS POINT. Orc prisons look like this.

Killing an Orc Prison releases a tiny ball of light that follows you, and after a short period of time lights up an area around itself. Mobs in that small area have their Dark Energy buff removed, and you can actually kill them. The exception to this are Orc Wizards that do not get affected by it. You will get a message on the top of your screen saying: "Powerful light weaken the black energy surrounding the monsters" when a ball of light turns into an area.

Step 3: Kill the Wizards. Once these balls of light explode, Red Orc Wizard will have their AI overriden and try to go into those areas and start channeling a spell. This spell takes about 10-15 seconds to complete. DONT LET THEM COMPLETE THEIR CHANNEL. To stop them you can stun them or just kill them. Note: Orc Wizards are not affected by the small light burst debuff, so just try to DPS them as soon as you see them. Here's how their channel looks. You will also get a message on your screen when they start.

If a wizard DOES complete its channel, then the light area will despawn, which will be extremely annoying for the next step, and the mobs will get an ENORMOUS damage boost. If you see them compelte their channel, back the hell off, since mobs can actually evaporate you in a few hits.

Step 4: Light up your camp. If you destroy all the Orc Prisons fast enough and none of the Orc Wizards complete their casts, your camp will light up. More specifically, the Orbs you noticed at Step 1, will become enormous sparkly AoEs and a message "The light is sufficiently powerful" will appear at the top of your screen. Once this happens, every mob within the area of effect will be a LOT easier to kill. Before the camp lights up like this I do not recommend bothering with any of the mobs. You can have 100% uptime on this light area zone easily if you are only doing 1 camp.

Step 5: Move on to your next camp. Usually, at high AP you might want to have a second camp to farm at the same time. To do this, simply repeat the process of killign the Orc Prisons and the Orc Wizard to light up the camp. It is not necessary to farm 2x camps, especially if you are on the lower end of AP.

TLDR: Keep your camp(s) lit up all the time, and kill the mobs in the light to make your grind efficient.

Hadum Mechanics

Since this is a Hadum Zone, there a few extra mob mechanics, specifically, the Elvia Weapons. These spawn randomly, and are affected by drop chance (aka more drop chance=more weapons).

When it happens, you get a message at the top of your screen saying, "You hear happy whispers of gentle spirits near you". This spawns an NPC near you that lets you choose between an Elvia Main OR Awakening Weapon. OTHER PEOPLE CAN STEAL YOUR WEAPON SPAWN. There are 3x types of weapons, Narc/Valtarra/Okiara. Mobs in the Hadum Orc Camp are VERY weak to okiara weapons, but every weapon makes your grind MUCH faster. When you get an Elvia weapon, you can basically oneshot the debuffed mobs in the light Zone, and even the mobs that you have not debuffed can be killed in a few skills. Since you will definitely be overclearing if you only have 1 camp in your rotation, its recommended to even kill mobs that are outside the light debuff zones.

Thank you for this well written guide. Now I have something to look forward to other than the previous meta grind spots.

Yes, when I made it people weren't grinding those. I'll update this guide soonish.

What scroll did you use and did you use agris? 11k seems very high for wizard with blue scroll and no agris.

That was actually an hour with gold just when the spot came out, and I forgot to include 2k trash that I had left in my tent :D So it was more like 14k trash with gold on release.

Nowadays, they even buffed the spot further by nerfing Orc Hp significantly and I get 15-16 k trash with gold LS.

Also since you mention wizard, wizard is in fact really well suited for this spot at least in awakening. The reason is that the spot generally favors large AoE. The single best class here in my opinion is succ lahn due to her ridiculous AoEs, I have seen lahns have 20k trash hours with gold ls.

Thanks for making this guide. I was wondering how the mechanics of this grind spot worked. What classes would you say can reliably/somewhat reliably grind here at 269 AP Kutum though? And I assume you need buffs like a Frenzy Draught, Perfume of Courage, etc.?

Absolutely loving this guide. I think some of the Eliva spots have seemed a little daunting at first since I wasn't sure what exactly I was doing. Stuff like this helps out a lot and highlights the key parts of what I should be focusing on. Thank you!
