Look the Lightstone system was a great feature to bring into the game, but the implementation and probability of Lightstone is honestly a joke.

I get where the thinking came from making stones so expensive, essentially giving alchemy some actually profit for easy to make items, but honestly, this system is an absolute joke. The chance of getting a rare Lightstone is absurd and an absolute waste of money.

If the probability was higher then people could actually make money off it and the player could actually get what they desire. I've sunk 10B into this garbage system to try to get rare stones for build and I'm yet to get a single Lightstone that is worth more than 5mil, you have preorders on the higher tier stones that just sit there as no one is making them.

Please reassess the system and for the love of god make the NPC exchange a 1 click thing instead of this current system

Don't wast your time and your money time with lightstone

imagine, you loot a stone, you have the choice to sell it at 2m or spend 20m and sell it at 4m.... or spend billions, set up alchemy guru, a lifeskill not profitable in 90% of cases.. to be able to craft even the lightstones.. and in the end still lose money on each craft.. because the craft costs 6m and the transformed stone costs 4m...

I think the current non-Alchemy-Guru method is fine - you can pay to purify or exchange for RNG, or sell the raw Lightstones and try to buy the specific one you want - but the 'bonus' Alchemist path is lacking.

1. Purifying. This should just be Simple Alchemy, possibly with a single vendor reagent like Blue Reagent. Decent saving versus Dalishain, so incentivises Alchemy Gurus to clear out the clogged Imperfect Lightstone market even just to purify and resell. Current purification recipe is not that great, especially given the volatile Black Gem Frag market, and the saving versus Dalishain still doesn't make it profitable for 90% of the RNG stones, so Imperfects sit unpurchased. And no, the super low chance at an Iridescent isn't enough to incentivise it. 

2. Creating. The current Guru Alchemy purification recipe could be modified to use multiple Lightstones of a given flavour (Fire, Wind, whatever) to make a specified different lightstone of the same flavour, rather than another RNG Purified stone. This feeds some of the myriad unfulfilled buy orders for the rarer/better stones, removes the bloated common/worse stones from the market, and drives up the value of the 'bad' stones so people who get a 'bad' RNG purification roll can still sell them. Again, could throw in a vendor item to determine which specific lightstone is created and keep a static cost marker included. 10 bad stones plus reagents for 1 good stone should keep the market flowing at all levels. 

This was hidden by admin due to the reports it has received.
