Even with the weekly quests (2 times a week with different characters), and the chance to get a part of the rich merchant's ring or Lafi Bedmountain’s Upgraded Compass is extremely hard to find people to do this quest chain.

I don't want to start Eternal Winter content until I already completed this part (I hate spoilers) so right now I find myself in this situation.
Why is part of the main quest line forced to be played in a 5-players team when nobody want to do it again after is already completed and creating instead a wall in the way for new players?

the idea of ​​putting the story quest IN the dungeon is the worst idea ever.... no one wants to waste their time with quests..

otherwise they should change the dungeon to 3 members max instead of 5, it's very difficult to find people on bdo interested by this buggy content..

Never did put a foot in a Dungeon, and I think I never will since it's dead content.

Are there really people waiting for the new ones ?

PS : don't hold your breath and allow yourself to do the Eternal Winter quests, BDO's story has no sense and will never be finished anyways, so who cares ?

Putting the main MSQ inside of non soloable content is super dumb. The "party finder" in this game is a joke, its 2022, add a queing system based off gear score to match people together. Spamming server chat, using the 1990's party finder, and using third party systems to find a group is ridiculous. 

I did the entirety of the MSQ but skipped that one and jumped into eternal winter. Nothing really happened in the dungeon so you don't have to worry about missing out on anything and you can always do it at a later time.

HOWEVER... Do note that once you do start the winter questline, you screw yourself over by not being able to complete almost all daily quests (well being able to accept them at least) with that character. This is probably a bug but something I don't see them fixing since the expansion is over 5 months old. You can continue with your dailies after the expansion is complete.

Don't bother with the dungeon and go to the winter zone. But don't get your hopes up, the expansion MSQ is like 4hours long in a small new area. It's very, very underwhelming.
