You are not alone, I am the same way! Others have also voiced their concern and since the original posting here, new people have come forward with this concern overtime. I have been skipping recent seasons if there is no new character now. Normally I play through the main quest each season, enjoying learning the combat, quests, and music. That's one way I have enjoyed BDO. Since the music changes I have been unmotivated to play as often. There is a lot people want changed in BDO and music is no exception. The developers have 'reworked' the music 2 or 3 times from what I know, so you can be SURE they will one day change it again. 

This thread remains as an indication that there are those who care about the music and want improvement. We have suggested everything from complete reversion to small additions to meet the developers halfway. It is unfortunate they do not respond, nor seem to see, or if they see this and are working on something, they do so really slowly. 

If this tread lives, then let it live for posterity so that when the developers do 'rework' the music yet again then maybe... maybe they will heed this advice. I do hope they revert or change it. It's such as shame.

Halloween is here!  Hurray!  No Halloween music at night because......... the music is jacked up and plays at random, and they don't play night music anymore, so they don't play the Halloween music in the cities at night anymore.

Dear Developers:

I REALLY appreciate all the work you put into this game.  It's an awesome game and I love it.  The random music ruins the experience, because half the time, IT ISN'T suited to the area/event that the players are in!  It creates conflict between the mood of the music and the mood of the area/event.  That conflict creates mental stress, which DOWNGRADES the playing experience.  Don't hurt us.  Help us.

And I have to say, I am tired of the songs that rotate, when I ever listen to the music.  I still try to listen at times, but I get sick of the rotations.  So.......... you didn't spice things up for me, AND I hate the rotation.  Two strikes.  Sorry.

Make this an awesome gaming experience!!!

Return the Halloween music, please!

FIX THE MUSIC FOREVER PLEASE, by kindly returning it to the pre-April 2022 soundtrack.

Yes, and to HiddenBlade, and all those who have been posting to this lately and frequently!  This feels like a long, epic battle, and I am by no means an activist.  But I am VERY sensitive to what music does for a game, movie, or any piece of multimedia, and I have to say, I probably would NOT have gotten into this game if it wasn't for how AMAZING this game's music is.  The current system is a travesty, and it needs to be fixed.  I believe the Developers can do it.

Nice diagram!  Now all they have to do is read that, and implement it.  No need to wonder what to do to fix it!

I've said this before and it bears repeating:

The theme for the Desert, the only one that played pre-April, is AMAZING.  I was roaming the desert tonight looking for the entrance to Aakman (which was proving to be quite elusive), and I wanted, no, HAD to listen to the song.  Turned on the music in-game, which now feels like a betrayal to my feelings on this issue.  Scarlet Sand Chamber was playing.  What a let down.  Nice song.  But the WRONG song.  Ancado Caost sometimes plays too.  Nice song, but still the WRONG song.  SO, I did what was right and just: I muted the music, and went to Youtube, which let me listen to what I wanted to hear.  WOW.  The experience was AMAZING.  Thankful for Youtube and to Zerrika, who posted the song!!! Too bad PA is currently depriving us of such amazing in-game experiences.  

Hey, Developers, I beg you:

fix the music, please.

Nothing is more of a bummer than being lucky enough to listen to the theme of Heidel while fishing for shad (thanks! love these events!).  Then, when the song comes to a close, and it's SUPPOSED to repeat and keep enchanting us indefinitely, it cuts short.  The pain!  And then..... thirty seconds of dead air...... then it plays some random Serendia tune.  Nice song, but.....

WHY IS THE MUSIC LIKE THIS?!

You guys had it perfect before.  Please fix it.  

Walking animations use to give the characters character.  Now they walk like zombies.  No zest or unique character.

These kind of updates strip this game of its soul.

Don't do these things to such a wonderful game.

I've always suggested that BDO just implement a music player like the one in Runescape. A 1 to 1 copy is all BDO needs to really improve the experience.
