Being able to make 400m an hour grinding is going to kill the economy. If it had a high barrier for entry it would be fine, but it doesn't. It's low risk, high reward right now and silver is flooding the market as we speak. Being able to buy a PEN accessory in a matter of weeks is insane. They need a serious nerf ASAP.
The economy is alread dead, at this point it doesn't matter much.
And PA never did care about the state of the economy.
It's just the direction the way is going due to powercreep. It might seem a high end zone now but it will be a mid range zone at best when all the fallen god weapons will be inevitebly added.

Exactly, Pearl Abyss cares so little about BDO economy that they designed a whole new global market, you heard it there boys.
Anyway, OP would have a point if a large amount of players was able to earn 400m/h.
In reality maybe 10% of the whole playerbase is even able to step foot in Elvia without dying constantly, and even a way less big amount of them can break 200m/h.
Additionally, good luck killing a market whose prices caps are controlled by the staff on top of being so massively dependant on events for supplies of high value items.

Well they only care about the $$ so they gladly take those small sacrafices for the greater good :)))
Altrough on the other hand you can't run a game in full die-hard mode, and if you not let the newbies catch up, the game slowly die due to no new players. BDO already stagnating at best, so yeah, they have to do something.

Newbies will surely catch up to so many players earning 400m/h according to OP. This topic is just nonsense on top of nonsense.
Not disputing the OP opinion just remembering everyone we currently are under the effect of a 50% drop event and numbers we are seeing of these zones are just artificially bigger.
I personally don't mind, life skills like gathering and cooking combination have been able to make the same amount if not more since manos released.

I don't believe you have even proven the case that people are pulling 400M/Hr. Most often ALL the data about areas are generally wrong and biased. They also include massively P2W numbers requiring you to use the best possible scrolls. Meaning that as soon as you no longer meet these requirements the numbers signifcantly change.
This is highly important in the way the information is portrayed. It gives the impression people just grind unlimited hours at 400M/hr which is questionable at best. It may include NEWLY released pricing, and disclude poor performing hours.
It can also be a number based on nothing at all.

The newbies can't catch up anyway. Unless they open their wallets and make this game their fulltime job. And even then it's an uphill battle.
