The newbies can't catch up anyway. Unless they open their wallets and make this game their fulltime job. And even then it's an uphill battle.
Perhaps the way it should be. As without that premise there is no point in even putting any effort into the game.
If they really want to catch up quickly, play Shadow Arena.

I get what you're saying but there's not much point in it anyway. It's not like the game changes when you reach a certain ap braket. You will be doing just more of the same.

Don't tell it to them, cause they leave then (they will anyway)
Considering the gear prerequisite that's needed in order to farm there without getting 1 shot I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that those who can farm there actually need the silver for their 10bn per 1 ap upgrade. I don't see an issue.

It one of the most significant and important aspects of the game. This occured years ago with leveling. People didn't even try or care at a certain point. They felt it was a better option to just wait a few months and get a massive exp boost and auto level. People that spent 100's or 1,000's of hours in the past got reduced to maybe 1 SINGLE HOUR of today's value.
When things get distorted to that point, there is no point in doing anything in the game above a very casual level of play. One of the differences and reasons people play BDO is their PEN items maintained value for years.
X amount of new players and current players will quit due to the gear curve but what people need to understand is those 650-700 GS players can be killed by people around 600-650 GS players in comparison which is not that hard to obtain depending and fights depend a lot on class match ups and even though the 1.5% as stated in the graph above 650 GS are making this kind of money they need literally 10x the amount of silver to upgrade something compared to the maybe someone 50 GS less with higher gain to silver ratios. Players will eventually catch up but seeing the graph where only 1.5% are above 650 it doesn't look like many care to.

There are thresholds that can break the system. If you simply don't meet the requirements you will suffer massively. You essentially need to 1combo nearly everyone otherwise V, Esc, Infinite Pot, mobility, and even just running away becomes virtually impossible to deal with for almost every class.
It's going to get a lot worse with Fallen God also. It's essentially going back to pre central market and older days when only a few people had PEN. You can get a reasonable amount of generally PEN items today, but that may become out dated and meaningless when people are doing full TET Fallen God or higher.

Most are not that dumb anyways. After a month or two in the game. They'll figure out that the chances to catchup without dumping heavy amounts of money and time is pretty much under 3%. Then they quit BDO mostly without a trace.
If Seasons have proven anything to use. It's that BDO is not unofficial helming the revolving door model. It is usually the last bit of effort, before a MMO truly goes into full maintenance mode. You guys are a foot into that door.
I don't believe you have even proven the case that people are pulling 400M/Hr. Most often ALL the data about areas are generally wrong and biased. They also include massively P2W numbers requiring you to use the best possible scrolls. Meaning that as soon as you no longer meet these requirements the numbers signifcantly change.
This is highly important in the way the information is portrayed. It gives the impression people just grind unlimited hours at 400M/hr which is questionable at best. It may include NEWLY released pricing, and disclude poor performing hours.
It can also be a number based on nothing at all.
i can tell you this - place is (as it is now) literally shitting money like crazy. especially when people are still willing to pay premium (800m-1bil) for necklace enhancement mats which realistically u grid in not so much time.
place is nerfed in korea tho and we should et it this maintenance. i am only regretting not grinding it until last two days due to reasons.
I just don't understand why people complain about getting money easier. Every time pearl abyss gives us an option to make the game more bearable, folks get upset. It's hilarious. I guess grinding isn't on a more terrible level. It should take you at least three years to get one PEN piece.
