I agree Retteo, Arsha droprate buff should be removed.
OK, so during this past month, every server has 50% droprate buff (making arsha and the normal servers "equal"). And what has this done?
Well, this past month every normal server is a toxic trash-fest of 'DFS or i'll dec you!", and arsha is comparatively a relaxed cool place where people who are pvp-inclined are roaming around fighting each other, grinding a bit, fighting a bit - it's great.
I'll be sad when the droprate buff ends because more people will compete for Arsha spots, but they won't be people who enjoy mixing grinding & PvP, they'll be people who are just seeking the droprate buff.
Yes, it's understandable that people are simply looking to obtain the advantages of the buff and NOT to play under the PVP rule set. It's supposed to be a place at which you don't need to deal with Karma and if you can maintain the grinding zones you rule the land.
It is the FAILURE of the PVP COMMUNITY crying they need buffs because it's so hard to play with others!! It their FAILURE to work as a united clan to dominate regions of Arsha.
A single player or small group should have NO IMPACT on a real guild holding their ground.
Imo one of the best things they could do to help alleviate the problem would be to make partying beneficial. Then the people running up to you instead of killing you would more likely ask "want to party?".

your not wrong but they dont know how to make partying relevant they instead makes zones party specific or not and even those you can solo if you wanted to if your gears good enough. The game was better back when party's mattered thats part of the reason the PVP ganking and such was still worth doing. because they were party vs party fights not 1 guy so far outgears 1 guy that he spams DFS and if you say no feeds you to mobs. or the other person just karma bombs. Partying should be rewarding right now its kind of forced for some zones and most its completely pointless.

Well in other games ive played,Ill use Path of Exile as an example partying is promoted by party members all getting their own loot drops from each mob that no other player can get.XP is increased the more players in a party making leveling up alittle faster in a party.
While these partying benefits made partying very welcoming it didnt make soloing less welcoming.I solod maps all the time and if someone asked I would be happy to do them with them for the partying benefits.
POE has always been my icon of a perfect game in that they really made alot of great decisions. If they made an owmmo like bdo I think it would wreck any other MMO.
One of the great things about bdo is they dont completely destroy all your progress every update like WoW.Bdo is the second best game I know for letting players retain their progression...beat only imo by POE. POE not only generally allows your old gear to retain value it makes old gear and gear so old that it isnt acquireable anymore the most valuable gear in the game so if you havent played in 2 years your gear is not only just as valuable when returning but it very likely will be waaayyy more valuable now.

I don't know that I have ever seen any company successfully implement group content. It always leads to either dead content or making solo game play a waste of time.
It's REALLY nasty with P2W also. It can lead to RMT or Elitism very easily also. You end up with high end parties doing 500M+/hr and only bothering to play during scrolls. Party Gear requirements etc.
These companies simply never care about the damage it does. It's never a priority like other mechanics even though it can literally destroy the game.
I had some fun in the past in parties over various games. Even BDO long ago. However, they always led to........ the party is over, may as well quit or go AFK.
Additionally, they were so broken you could waste 30 minuts to an hour just to get a party doing scrolls and still make more than solo. They where always completely busted. The content was also designed around P2W and group content. So the game would suffocate you into performing poorly without the proper setup.

???
gear requirements isn't "elitism", it's literally simply just not wanting to waste time. why should you have to take on someone who is undergeared for a spot? you are wasting your own time. also you can get 500M+/hr solo now at the 280 AP Hadum areas making Oluns even less relevant except for costume pieces and caphras stones

Sorry brah this is an Elite party where we run scrolls. You need 300+ AP Kutum or get lost.
We can't have some under 700GS newb ruining our optimization. You need to download a DPS meter to see if you make the cut. And we have PVP trials for group spots.
