Social Actions
This was heavily requested by players and later this year they plan to add various new social actions – for example, dancing.
New Life skills: Climbing and Art
Two new life skills have been confirmed with more being considered. The first is the climbing life skill which starts off as basic mountain climbing with the possibility to climb castle walls once you are more skilled. The details and balancing are still in development.

The actual systems for climbing/whatever was likely never finished and abandonded due to low interest from their analytics or there was a bug/it was too difficult to implement/balance. You also have to take into consideration that if these systems aren't expanded upon every expansion/patch, people will get pissed off. So you have systems upon systems that are already having to be supported, but then you have more. I doubt PA has a huge staff of hundreds of devs, so they have to pick and choose their battles. Is it a cool idea? Yeah, I guess. Do they have the man power to implement it in a meaningful way and support it? I doubt it.
What would the point be for climing castle walls? Or even mountain climbing when you make the trek faster with a dream horse by going around it. It'd be kind of cool to see mountain climbing in the eternal winter portion since it is a big mountain, but I don't think that's their vision. People might find that tedious.
The diver suit is interesting. But with the way the Ocean stuff turned out (lotta people pissed off/bored/not interested), it probably was planned, but then they reversed their stance because the focus shifted away from Ocean/underwater stuff. Why have a diving suit when the only thing you'd do underwater is gather? It's a niche outfit for a niche mechanic. Then they'd have to put gathering items on the sea floor (not the shoals) so that would be new gathering mats that would be locked behind ocean traveling. Waste of development resources coming from a business standpoint. People really REALLY hate the desert areas and ocean areas. Because you can't navigate and the desert gives heatstroke/hypothermia while also not being able to navigate. The Ocean is also huge and it takes forever to get from Point A to Point B. The cost of shipbuilding is stupid high and needlessly complex.
If they reworked the ocean mechanics (boosting speed exponentially, removing durability loss on small skifs, streamlining ship building, making it less expensive, etc) you'd see interest rise. Enough to warrant those implementations? I don't know.
The current diving outfit already looks ugly enough as it is without adding something like that. I wish that they'd just gone with a swimsuit with a good diving and swimming buff instead.

Ocean content was never completed but maybe that's something they will look into in the future. Unfortunately there's too many core problems to fix first like desync for ocean content to become enjoyable.
Climbing maybe... But it likely was abandoned due to how you can just climb mountains by jumping anyway and what content would they release that would use it? Eternal Winter could have used this system but we didn't see it.
That shai diving outfit is hideous. I think they thought it would be immersive but honestly it's not appealing in the slightest. Maybe they realized th is and said.. nawww and passed on it.

I disagree, i would happily take the cool looking diving suit over the bikini that would be butchered in the west anyways.
As for climbing, if it had similar controls to swimming or ladder climbing, i would rather not have it at all.
