Just looking to see if they have ever started up a single PVE channel.  It looks like they haven't.  See everyone in 6 months when I return to check again.  On the plus side.  I am saving a fortune.  Have a good one everyone.

Season and Olvia servers are PvE. Actually I think they changed the name of Oliva? IDK... Anyway, if you keep leaving for a month, it's like you're permanently on PvE.

You have seasonal servers ... they are PVE only ... go check it out and let us know how much fun you have over there. :)

Also I like how they aren't adding PVE servers ... at this point I like how pissed care-bears are :)

what does this tell you about what  the general population of BDO wants? you can argue all kinds of this and that. but i am confident they add servers and maintain them as needed. if it were lopsided in favor of PVP servers i would agree that PVP is more popular - but that is not the case.

olvia is not pve, you can kill people in olvia

The PK system needs to be improved. New Adventurers or fearful Adventurers are too scared to play.
Black Desert is an open-world game designed to allow you go anywhere, and let’s you freely enjoy your choice in playstyle. However, the level of freedom goes up, it means other Adventurers are able to interfere in the adventures of others as you stated. But there are a variety of safeguards put in place that don’t compromise the fundamental freedoms of the game.

First of all, there are many safe zones spread around, including towns and cities, the inability to PK characters under level 50, and the growth server Olvia has forced PvP mode turned off. In addition, we created an environment where Adventurers who recklessly PK are imposed with disadvantages that makes it difficult to harass an Adventurer. On the other hand, for adventurers who want to enjoy PK, we are continuing to develop a variety of PVP content, along with the Battle Arena, Red Battlefield, Arena of Arsha, Node War, Conquest War, and the desert itself.

We will continue to think about ways to make your adventures more enjoyable.

BDO is a "PVX" MMO.  The "real" game, IE: non-Season, is all PVX, all channels are PVX.  This should tell you what kind of game BDO is designed to be.  Sandbox-y PVX MMORPG with player-driven content and, IMO, is the only game that offers this type of experience.  Which is why I like this MMO over all others.  The "do it myself" atmosphere.  The PVP.  The player-driven conflict.  GVG's.  The dopamine rush of finally getting that item, to move on to the next.

PVE servers, on non-Season, destroys the very foundation of Open World PVX that makes BDO, BDO.

So you agree that pvpve is more popular? 

They are PVE only.

They've already said they aren't doing that and why would they when the only point to gearing is PVP combat. Theres no PVE in BDO. Just training dummies and moving training dummies.
