Now we can camp thier spawn with buffs. Extra 500hp, 30ap and dr 20, as we just farm the kills for the score sheet (you understand that's what matter to the regulars right?).

Dosent matter if we let one of thier side out to take back the points... that's the idea. Once we have thier them locked down, we let one hero go out and take the lead for there team... then farm the kills for the score sheet.

That buff exitsed before the patch aswell, it's just bugged and ain't applied most of the time.

Not like it would change anything, or would have any point, the devs are completely clueless. If they want more balanced rbf, then maybe start working and fix the que system, so one of the teams not get 10-15 more players...

Why though, when RBF numbers mean virtually nothing? RBF isn't ranked or organized. Who would care how many noobs you killed or randoms you got the last hit on? At least if you win you get silver.

they cant balance classes or teammaking so they pump up raw stats so that one side has clear advantage and call it balance.

bdo in a nutshell. kinda sad they dont have good game developers that can make something decent without such obvious "u need to lose" crutches. same shit as pvp class vs class mods, reboots with their damage inflation, bsr nukes, fotms and other same stuff.

level, gear, wins.

There are a few areas in the game left for me to play on with my seasonal gear, if I manage them last few (Crypt of resting thoughts / Oulans), what is the point in gear? I would just be grinding to get more gear to make zones I completed with a seasonal even easier...

Like a weightlifter braking a record then take off weights and calling it progress because it’s easier.

Doesn’t mater if the score is meaningless or not, a lot of rbf players play for the score because that’s all there is.

I know getting my 3k kills on my shai counts for something, nearly there :) that's 3k people that died to shai

i can’t be sure, but I think I once saw 3 people joint my team when a match had me and one opponent in it.

all of a sudden, 3 more player join in one go, now it was 4V1. that means the other side needed to wait for 3 more people to join before it was equal numbers.

Guess it que lag issues, same with some matches, can get way over the 60 cap.. being in the 80 and laster year I think there were 90+ games.

They can’t balance for skill. Maybe the new arena is an attempt at that with match up system, but there is no way to balance RBF.

The solutions would rely on the player base and BDO trusting them (kek).. but that’s risky in it’s self. Depends on your regular  at the time.

Example; If one team is winning, manages to get to the other side spawn area and stand there for 30seciond + ; Have the option to swap teams, no matter the numbers. As that them is being crushed, you really can’t make it any worse, but you can make it more fun.

Some player really want to swap to the weaker side when a match is so one-sided, people that are there for a challenge and a good fight, but there is no real option. Even people that want kills, because when yourside is camping there other, AOE classes clean up all the kills, so dull, reather swap sides at teach class carried fragger a lesson :P

Sure, such a system needs more thought, Checks to reduce abuse… but it would be better than the band aids we have now, that do nothing!

Maybe the GMs need to get into the new RBF discord? Have ask the orgoniser to look into that, BDO needs feedback from players.
