now that maegu is released, succ sage buffed and devs consider that balanced, can they finally get to fixing awakening wizard/witch enjoyment?

It isnt fully released yet, wait till after awakening comes out probably be in the same state as caster but faster movement and the slow being unprotected. My guess you give up the slow being protected for protected movement, well missing grab and s block which witch has s block and wiz has grab on awakening, i would make the suggestion after they bring out awakening for her because its highly likely shes "overtuned" right now is to compensate for missing skills which means she will 100% be having damage reduced and her protections probably will be touched up to

look at other "casters" moving perma protected and having protected nukes :D

now compare that experience to "W" walking awakened casters that melt near other people or get perma grabbed into mud and deal no damage to some classes simply "because" of develoeprs shitty pvp modifiers.

Is there any chance Awaken Wizards get the buffs and support needed soon. I believe I ready that they are adding new player models for Wizards? Any chance some of these things get fixed then?

Mana shield need it's mana consuption reduced by a lot. 2-3 hits can eat all mana and leaves you with no skills to hit, even with infi mana pot.

Both Succ and Awak don't deal comparible damage as other classes.

There are so many classes that zip around so fast there is no way to get away from any of them, even when you nearly kill someone they zip away and teleport just can't keep up, make it consume stamina or something?

In the NA vs Eu arena matches even the commentators said that they ignore the wizard (Horseyy) until last becasue he does no damage.

There are more Shai's in the top 100 of AOS than Wizards.

Confirmed you have no mana left with x4 mind crystals as well. Just way to much damage in the game.
The shield should just be X=value(which in my opinion should scale off of DP)

We've had what, 4 class releases since then? I honestly don't see the point of having the game installed anymore.
They're not going to force me to play a FOTM class, just to drive their quarterly sales reports(*Coughs WOOSA.. MAGOO Coughs*) .
Its completely obvious why they released one in Q4 of last year and another in Q1 of this year.
None of their "chosen ones" play an Aweakened Wizard, it gets no publicity on how terrible it actually is, and they successfully ignore it, without end.

They gave Awk Wiz and witch some buffs with tonight global lab but not sure how i feel about it tbh, google translations are poor and hard to make out and it appears some info is missing.

It appears the marg and arne summon effects will now always be on the skill regardless of what summon is out which is amazing if EVERYTHING gets added damage/extra hits, aqua jails extra large radius and dp buff but knowing PA they will leave things out that we use to have with the summons making the change a nerf

hellfire damge is going 10,956% total to 9,564 but looks like going to 50% crit chance overal instead of 25% to just monsters which is amazing if it's 50% to humans as well but if it's translated wrong and it's just a 25% increase to crit to only monsters with a 1400% total dmg reduction this will suck balls

Also hellfire now will cast in front of you without charging forward if you click lmb which is debateably nice. i kinda consider it a nerf but to each their own.

water barrage from 17 to 14 seconds...... pointless change might aswell not have happened at all, make it 7 or 8 seconds and stop fcking with us. it chain combo's with 2 other 7 second skills.......

Chilling wave's flow arne's guidance 15>14 hits and they "fixed" the way it's hits are applied normally so this seems like a straight out nerf, already one of our weakest skills and they nerf it more potentially lol

Chilling wave itself damage foruma and animation changed, the overall % damage is seriously lower then it was so seems like the skill is nerfed to garbage levels worse than dagger stab but they mentioned hits not applying properly so we'll see.

Flame calling damage buff and Elementization cool down reduced and stamina increase, i mean these skills are garbage in the first place and polishing a turd is still a turd.

Bolide looks like it got a damage increase but hard to tell as the global lab just says 1927% with no X multiplier so i really hope it's 1927x 6 like 1606% x6 and not 1927%x 1, that would be beyond a sick joke, i am wondering though if the marg summon buff extra hits and damage get added also cause if it''s a damage buff of1606% x6 to 1927x 6 plus the current marg buff of 1300% x 3 that would be really really good

can't speak for witch as i don't play it but i assume it's similiar.

I mean rate it overall 5 of 10 or 50%, changes from what i can understand of them are great damage wise but we need more than just damage buffs, they have failed to address our serious lack of pack to pack movement and squishyness.

Elementization cool down cut in half but who in their right mind that knows what they are doing is going to do 1 teleport back when they can do 2 teleports forward for twice the distance, give Elementization a double backward teleport and we'll possibly talk but even then you can't see behind you and some can catch you before your animation is even done and you will probably hit a wall or something screwing yourself over, teleporting forward is just far suprior to Elementization and this skill is useless.

They really need to change magic shield to not take mana per hit and or increase the damage it reduces

my issue with changes is that they dont really affect our survivability (beside being able to use elementalization more often, or maybe better to say, we can get dissapointed by it more often) or pvp class v class modifiers. where are mana shield duration buffs? some charges on magical eva? always available teleport flow for awaken spec? 

we need ways to mitigate damage and/or remove oursleves from being the immobile target somehow. we are perfect target for heavy hits and for chasing down due to our kit. and our damage to people trying to do it most often is nowhere near enough to amke them think about engaging us. most classes see us and go stright into us laughing thier asses off, maybe few more careful people block or evade dangereoous skill or two before playing cat and mouse.

Global-lab update 27th january 2023

wizard

[Wizard] Changed the skills that are enhanced while Marg or Arne is summoned to be enhanced regardless of the summoned number.

Awakening Wizard has improved the inconvenient parts of using skills. I made it possible to use the attack of the flame skill, which could not be activated without hitting the enemy, when I wanted it, and improved the linkage afterwards so that I could use the flame skill more diversely. In addition, the Cold Wave skill, which maintains forward guard only when an additional strike is activated, has been newly changed so that when using the skill, the defense judgment is maintained until the end of the attack.

Order of Swiftness
  • After using the swift spell skill, movement and other skills have been improved to make it smoother.
 
lava field
  • When using the lava field skill, a lava field has been changed to be created at a close distance from the character.
 
baptism of water
  • Changed the skill specialization for the skill of Water Baptism to 3 levels.

      • Accordingly, the damage of the Black Spirit: Flame skill is also changed.

  • Flow: The number of hits for Arne's Guidance skill has been changed from a maximum of 15 hits to a maximum of 14 hits.
  • Fixed the issue where when Arne's Guidance was activated, Arne's attack number was not applied normally.

  • The Cold Wave skill has been changed as follows.
    • The behavior of skills has changed.
      • As a result, the additional hit has been changed to always trigger.
      • Fixed the issue where Forward Guard was not applied in certain situations while using the skill, as the additional strike was changed to always activate.
