- NA RBF always has filled RBF channels, even off-hours.  Peak hours, you'll often see 2 or more full channels.  AoS was just introduced, queue times in NA are less than 30 seconds of waiting, many times, instant queues.

2rbf in peak hours is pretty ded, that's at most 120 players out from the what? 10k players that is online?

Before the AIDS valencia rbf and failure class reworks there was 3rbf at peak times in the EU, now it's struggle to even have 2...

Class balance isnt the issue, the issue is the gear gap. In most games someone with a 10% gear score over you wont instakill you and you can put a good dent into them, in BDO? They are immortal and look at you and you fall over. Only fix is to rehaul the entire system so that gear score differences don;t play such a monsterous role. I mean look at all the things they altered in Arena of solare even with the gear normalizing to add some substance to a pvp fight? added like 2k hp to everyone gutted accuracy scores etc... You want to fix pvp make gear score normalized over the entire world only for PVP and you have a start, otherwise its just not actually pvp. All you goto do is watch choice goomba stomp people in the RB (not saying he is bad  pointing out he goes from goomba stomping to atleast people having the possibility of fighting back), then watch him in solare to see the problem with PVP in the open world.

Sure.  But RBF is not the only measure of PvP activity, there are NW's, Siege, AoS, BA, GvG, etc.  BDO features both PvE and PvP in the game, lots of ways to "partake" in both, for everyone.  Casual / new can partake with Trails, capped wars, and AoS.  Veterans can enjoy uncapped wars.  Everyone can enjoy GvG, but yeah, gear matters in uncapped PvP.

After a certain point of gear score between players, "gear gap" starts becoming less relevant and skill starts to play a larger role, along with class and PvP situation.  If players are within, I estimate, 20 GS or so, of each other, both players can be killed in most situations.  At around 680 gear score, you can compete with 700 GS, but you of course need to consider builds as well.

Gear matters in PvP - yes, but ONLY in uncapped instances.  This is open world PvP and T2+ nodes and uncapped siege.  This is an MMORPG, is it not?  Are you literally asking for equalized gear across the board, everywhere?  C'mon man.  This is why some people here talk about entitlement, laziness, and all that -- with comments like that.  First and foremost, before we even start talking about PvP, BDO is an MMO.  Gear matters in MMO's, dafuq.

AoS, capped wars exist so everyone can enojy PvP.  Uncapped stuff exists as a goal for players to strive for.  In other MMO's you strive for better gear for higher tier raids.  In BDO, one reason you strive for better gear is for higher tier PvP content, and this is higher tier nodes, castles, and fighting against stronger players.  Low tier raids exist for low gear in other MMO's, capped PvP exist for low gear in BDO.  There are many ways to avoid PvP confrontation with stronger players if a player is weak -- I listed so many ways to avoid it.  Those instances are already rare for newbies anyway -- they're in Valencia and vets are going to be in Elvia Calpheon.  You make like every vet is grinding for Map pieces.  And vets know how the Karma System works, so new players are well protected with how Karma benefits them.  Add Marni's Realm and new players can grind peacefully, like, 99% of the time or something.  For that 1% that they get gear checked in open world?  Swap server.  There's no cooldown now with Home Channels.  Why would a newbie find themselves fighting a high GS player so much anyways?  Be realistic please, you're fantacising about these extreme situations and make like it's the norm nowadays.  BDO changed so much, casuals and newbies have no a better time to start this game than now.  So these situations you guys complain about, to me, are like, how in the world did you..... What are you guys doing wrong to always be getting curb stomped so much?

Bro, I just can't with some of you guys.  I used to be low geared too when I started and got wrecked so many times while learning my class.  Back then, it was way more harsh and the threat of strong players was way scarier than now.  Karma wasn't as harsh, and only two relevant grind spots, Pirate's and Sausan.  Personally, I think this was good because I enjoy competition and pushing myself, but for mainstream purposes, maybe not so good.  Now, psssh -- walk in the park.  Go into Marni Realm, be well protected by Karma, and so many grind spots now.  Newbies making 500 mil an hour, right out of Season, dafuq?  Maybe I'm ignorant, so please, enlighten me.  What are you doing that causes you to be wrecked by stonger players so much?  I mean, the complains are loud and clear.

And answer me this, why you even play MMO's if you don't even wanna grind for gear or progress your characters?  One big point of MMO's, to me, is grinding your butt off, progressing you character, making it into high tier content, and making a name for yourself.  BDO is a different MMO, so may not be your cup of tea.  But PvP landscape changed so much.  Marni Realm, Solare, capped siege, siege of all things.  I mean, am I wrong?  Are MMO's not about progressing your character to you?  Maybe you should stick to League of Legends......not trying to be mean.  Genuinely curious.

TL - Sorry it's long, but I'm bored and passionate :)

It doesn't change anything if you consider that PVP begins at 700+ GS anyway. ;)

Yeah I agree with you too a degree. BDO now have a few avenues for standarized PvP. Which is showing itself to be more popular than the uncapped version of PvP. Which is a good thing.

I don't think the play should be to equalized every form of PvP in BDO. However I do think the Devs should start capitilizing on the clear demand for standardized PvP. And add even more forms of standardized PvP. And leave all the other forums of uncapped PvP alone. To give people who want to gear vs player to continue to have a place in the game. If gear vs player venues die out because too little demand. Then so be it.

Honestly, some people do actually go from zero to 650+ GS in under a month. More so these days since max costume sale price has doubled. And all of the artisan meme sales and stuff. If you are a person who can spend massive amounts of money on BDO. You can actually get 650 GS in a matter of a few weeks.
