That's good for you guys. But outside your guild of active players. I have seen none that don't meet the categories I listed earlier.

Pretty sure PA is full of "yes men" and don't really have a say into anything except just agreeing to whatever the head hanchos say and what the head hancho says is whatever will please their big investors. Honestly, if you want to see this game get better, you can complain but might get silenced in the process. Realistically if the entire community complains a lot about the same things over and over again they might listen but it depends on what since they don't seem to listen to things like de-censoring shai, fixing desync, etc... Big topics.
If you're an influencer you probably have more sway but there have been big names for this game that just got up and left and PA didn't listen to them before they did. Honestly, there's nothing that we can hope to do to change their mind and crappy decision making processes. You could not pay into the game, you could stop playing entirely, sure... But that won't change anything. People got up and left by like 90% of the populace before (twice) and they just used the power of marketing to bring in more people to replace them.
In short, there's nothing we can do other than maybe convince Elon to buy out PA LOL
Pretty much. This game still on the "2022 avoid list" for alot of my community sadly. Can't recommend it to anyone because the grindwall/paywall is too big for normal gamers. Tried to get a few dozen into the game but all quit within a month calling it p2w (rightfully so). I still play it only because I already put too much time into it haha. :'). Maybe it will get better...probably not.
Chrono Odyssey and BELLATORES are still in development. Also ff17 online is a possibility... so theres things to hope and wait for still to replace this game eventually.

Back on topic, the PVP in this game is its own type of PVP. Not many other games really got that action-based combat down yet so BDO is still in a position to where its still "unique" (very low competition). I feel if new games start getting pumped out that match or surpass BDO's combat however, this game will fold so fast. Theres not much to this game beyond the grind for gear/cope wall so a game like idk say ff14 would easily destroy it (if it had the same graphics and combat to match).
Unreal Engine 5 tech being released however shows that tech IS catching up. We might see some banger mmorpgs soon. #COPIUM #shoutoutfans #callingallcars :P

am i the only one? no1 lags in NWs? And sieges are literally unplayable!
Im 28 and value my time I don't mind getting rolled by overgeared guy, but lags in PVP: ill play something else.
Cant count all the times i got cced in protection or "missed" my grabs or guy on the ground just teleported behind me. Thats a trash tier experience in my view so i don't pvp unless i have to.
Also, i think pvp scene is just starved for new stuff.
A fun idea would be RBF where every1 enters with a random class with the gear they got or preset gear no customization
Or NW rbf or something this is a lazy plan and might not work cuz we already have that, they coult at least try it :/

eh, I can do the grind competition if it's set as the rule. If you start a competition, it's stupid to flag. I'm a ranger, too, but I'm not 66, so. lol yea you can have that. I'm happy w/ ranger tho.
I don't like that your guild is named Karmacide tho! Arsha tho. Open world pvp still is the best tho. Grief is memes but there could be fun pvp in the world if they added some incentive other than dunk u to get u out of my rotation.

I think that the game pvp scene suffer from multiple problems that affect different groups.
New players - understanding that joining any pvp scene (outside t1) will require huge investment of time of doing unfun activities is a huge demotivation (sorry, but i doubt anyone actually enjoying killing in circles mobs for hours per day for only 1 improvement per few weeks, neither do i think that doing life skill/afk simulation is any fun for new players that want to enjoy the pvp combat the game has to offer). Ironically you need to do anything except pvp to get stronger in pvp...
Veteran players - most of them are at least in the soft cap and can join the pvp scenes, their issues are different:
- First, the pvp balance is horrible, and while true balance is almost impossible to achieve, we should strive towards it as much as possible while the developers taking their time (already 5 months, or +1 year for the witchards meta) and barely or if at all listen to feedback. *I do want to mention that yesterday global patch notes seems to be the right direction finally.
- second, the stagnant state that the pvp scene is at, aswell as how most of the pvp scene is pretty much scripted.
While the game amazing action combat and graphics can carry the game so far, at one point it's simply not enough anymore.

Spring is always a slow time for node wars.
Especially when the weather is beautiful outside. I have never burned so much in 3 years.
Personally, in NA we don't have much issue at my level.
the current Meta or the older one. 50/50
When the game was 95% Wizard/witch for over 4 years did not bother us much. Stop taking the meta as an excuse. ^^
Changing the meta isn't going to make you any happier.
There has never been so much class diversity today. We're a long way from the Mandatory Alt Wizard of a year ago.
There will always be change. Zerk will get nerfed as the meta shifting cycle demands, and you'll have another class take over.
There is a good chance that it is the Drak awak. kek.
ur class can basically press q and be safe from goomba succ zerker zerg, but rest of us arent so blessed. fcke yea its unfun.

A game that has literally no counter plays is a thrash game, that's why it's "slowly dying" as you claim.
A class can sit perma SA or 360o block and i have no grab, a class have grab but i have no i-frame, a class can i-frame 24/7 but i have no aoe or grab, a class have ranged grabs, i don't even have a grab to beggin with, a class can teleport from the one side of the map to the other, i don't have any teleports, a class can hit me from the other side of the map with ranged attacks and slowstack me, i don't even have ranged attacks.
The PvP is pure garbage, yet there are people who haven't played any other game and they say "bdo has the best combat ever".
Your skill plays zero role in this game, everything has to do with your gear / class and FPS.
