Given the recent increase in the price of pearl shop items when listed on the market, it is evident that silver is worth a lot less than it was back in 2019 when bartering was released. Stars end was around 250 mil per hour and now the new grind spots give around 500 mil per hour, so it makes sense that the pearl shop items about doubled in price. Because grind spots have almost doubled in the amount of silver per hour since then, it only makes sense that bartering get's a buff as well. 100 mil per hour of bartering is really low. I think a buff to 200 mil per hour would be really good and it would still keep that 2:5 ratio of silver per hour when comparing bartering to grinding. I think this would make bartering more than just a little icon people go for above their heads. Hunting got a large buff, so I think bartering should be next. This can easily be done by doubling the price of barter items and doubling the amount of crow coins given per trade.

Bartering is a semi afk activity, you should compare it with other semi afk activities like horse breeding / fishing
and not compare it with the grind where you have to be 100% active with lots of buff
and currently barter is much more profitable than these two activities mentioned above.
If you need to up a lifeskill in priority, it is these last two.

It's not really semi afk. Sure if you barter like 8h to get through all your resets (and ignore Magoria runs), but then it's defenitly less than 100mil/h.

Like you say there are lot of activities that need a silver/h buff, but pointing that out  doesn't justify to not buff batering.

I didn't touch batering for about an 1.5 years now, because the artificial cap off resets, trash silver and no intresting changes made to it so far

Correct. All life skills are currently dead. We have higher and higher trash from mobs but life skills income are almost same as 5 years ago.

And if you new BDO players you have total zero profit and zero chance for it because you will faster obtain even lvl 64 then Guru X in many life skills. And also you don't have any source of income to buy manos items that cost even more than pve items.

Eg. Fairy Powder with 10k price. ROTFL. Fairy Powder should be worth at least 1m to reflect the difference to the thrash earnings. 

Lets check all life skills nowadays:

- gathering - almost dead, very low money even after mats max price increase, also most players who gathering do it this for themselves, eg. for cooking, so they have no profit from gathering

- fishing - dead, orange fish are epic rare, imperial yellow give you very low money

- cooking - almost dead, with imeprial daily limit, and many bottleneck our daily income it's 100-150m but first you need spend many hours for this boxes

- alchemy - dead - ingredients are too expensive, and alchemy requires ingredients from many different sources 

- processing - dead, price of the finished item (+35% tax) is lower than the price of the materials

- training - dead, any player has option to get a T8 horse for free or almost for free, also prices of horses are too low for the time it takes to train them

- trading - dead, very low money and very stupid imperial system

- farming - dead, after "fruits" buff from herbs and additional cooking bonus quests faming don't have any sense, takes too long and generates no profit, also costs too much CP

- barter - medium low money, and takes too long, all barter goods should weigh 10 times less.

Mhm, I don't see bartering as a semiafk activity at all. Autopathing is atrocious, I can't stand it. The path doesn't make any sense most of the time, the ship is zigzaging for no apparent reason and getting stuck a lot. Most of my barters are in margoria, good luck semiafking that. 

And you also lose additional content with afk: islands exsploration and islands quests.

For me bartering is 100% active.
