You could get 1 free random dye if you logged in game 3 days, they removed that option because they couldn't milk every posible penny out of their players.
I even made a thread about a year ago.

Free gears, free alter apearance tickets, free colour change passes, free everything.
Meanwhile BDO gives you free Cron stones that you cannot even sell, so you fail 6 times on PEN and then EVEN PAY TO REPAIR YOUR WEAPON / ARMOR.

Right now they are thinking to increase the price of outfits up to 800+ mill silver, but ye it's not p2w at all.
Zero grind instant 800+ mill silver just by using your credit card, don't forget you can buy multiple items not just one.
Reminder you will be surprised how many people with daddys money and huge businesses exist in this world.
These people don't even know how much money they got in their bank, you really think they grind a single minute in this game lol?
What is there in BDO but grind? Do you even play BDO? You buy your way out of the grind you loose you don't win.

I think it has more to do with not being able to craft in game dyes.
Pretty much, and if you pay for the permanent ones, you get RNG boxes which may or may not be what you want and most likely not what you want. You also don't get custom RGB colors like you would with merv.

Yes, the business model with THREE different convenience subsciption packs is absolutely predatory and screams regulation. But it takes the old people in politics a long while to realize such issues and by the time they do things will have moved on. But that is on a different page.
This would require compliance around the world which won't happen. Also, the government has no place in regulating businesses so much. People are free not to buy the overpriced VP/Tree/Moon packs but they do anyways. If people would just stop buying pearl items, they would be forced to either merge them together or make them cheaper and this goes with costumes. It's an issue with personal responsibility and the government should never, ever put their hands on it because they'll ruin it like they ruin absolutely everything else they touch. In korea, minecraft is an "M" rated game because how big of a nanny state korea is.
