...you wont be missed.

Not only I can grind 1h daily in peace because of my work.

But we also have 5 actually decent grinding zones in calpheon. (maybe 4 because I might not be geared for those giant trolls). This means heidel spots will also be more accessible.

This is refreshing change after trash expansion which offered absolutely nothing.

This also proved that pvp in sandbox game just doesnt work. It doesnt offer any challenge when you are forced 1v1 with people who dont bother with it. It just turns into pointless griefing. Real pvp will always be instanced, usually in arena with 3v3 with mmr/equally skilled players. Shadow-arena was also fun, but they removed it.

Yep, anyone will be allowed to burn his daily buffs / scrolls / whatever without interference and make money more efficiently, during 1h and 5 minutes per day...

... But no, it didn't prove anything like that. What you described would be exactly the same with an opponent willing to outgrind / KS you.

And if it proved what you said, it would not be limited to 1h.

The only issue adressed here is the fact of making money, with strangely balanced spots : the most lucrative is not necessarily the hardest one. So there, any player will have 1 hour to be as efficient as possible. After this hour, it goes back to pvpve. Like many games, BDO do a step towards casuals, but no blame on pvp precisely.

With this change, BDO removes any interference from other players, be it through pvp or pve.

They do it because casuals as a audience is a more stable population than that of the dopamine chasers that burn themselves to a crisp by playing 18 hours a day Casuals are likely to stay longer if "some" dynamics are catered to them.

Honestly, I think this is okay since those who want to grind in peace and burn their Agris while making silver gains can do so. This was a cery strong work around for those wanting PvE servers.

This is actually the opposite. Casuals just switch to a another game if a new hyped game comes or if they got bored/rage. The hardcore players who invested lot of time/money into a game will stay as they not want to lose what they already invested. Casuals have nothing to lose hence they can always just leave for a another game.

Ah, our singleplayer game is developing nicely. Good work.

It is only single player, if you play it that way.  I keep seeing this in these forums, sounds like you desire to force players to team up.  I have been there and it doesn't work.  Attoraxxion was the first 5 man dungeon and it flopped, because not all players desire to hook up.  I personally have friends who invited me here to play this game.  When I say friends, I have their cell numbers or they live nearby.  I don't think they would care for me to call them up at 3 AM for help, but I mute my phone when I am sleeping.

Guilds are very persistant inviting you to join them.  If you auto reject them,  is it the game's fault you are an isolationist?  Forcing people to form parties is a horrible experience.  No one wants to be the Shai, Mercy, or Lifeline.  So you blunder around with a party full of tanks or the game has you wait in an eternal queue for the cleric to show up.  Players can make their own choices and mistakes in BDO, and that is the only way it should be in these games.

Have fun!

While I really hate the direction of private instances for a mmorpg I 100% agree that allowing open world pvp in mmorpgs is inviting primarily cancerous gameplay as in most every case the person attacking the person doing ove will have a huge advantage even if gear was equal. You get element of surprise , you can jump me while my abilities are on cooldown from hittting monsters , also most of these games create pve gear and pvp gear as the one player of course I will be in the optimal pve set up not pvp. I won't even get into the fact for a game like bdo killing people in open world serves zero purpose as well there is no real reward or penalties it's literally just pure griefing or bullying and is counter to the entire premise of mmorpgs. That said I have learned to accepting being friended and bullied and just swap channels or stop playing if I can't find an open channel and I prefer doing that to having an empty game world because everyone is in their own instance. The real problem is they created this huge awesome world but 95% of it is empty space even top grind spots have 1-2 good rotations and the rest of garbage span spacing. The problem was the original design was like that to force people to fight for spots but they then realized it created nothing but griefing and bullying which lost them players so they decided to discourage open world pvp but forgot to dramatically grow the mobs packs in the world which they no longer need to make sparse as they no longer encourage people to fight for spots.

1. Add more grind spots for group play

2. Add 3v3 arenas.

Neither of those are single player elements.

Look if you are coward who is afraid to fight 3v3 with equally skilled people and want to gank some lowbie instead then you are just loser who should not have any thoughts.
