Visible durability for alchemy tool and cooking utensil

I used to be able to see the durability bar for my alchemy tool and cooking utensil while they were sitting in my house and while I was using them. Now I can't. Why??? Why did this change? It's super frustrating to pop on a buff only to have to waste some if not all of it while switching out the tool. Am I really expected to put the tool back in my inventory just so I can see its durability. I realize this is a game -- but sheesh... Is there a trick I'm missing?

That's very odd. I just checked mine and I can see it as they are standing there. And I'm pretty sure I could see the durability earlier while I was using it.
Did your settings get messed up somehow?

I looked through the setting and didn't see anything that would toggle the durability bar of an alchemy tool/cooking utensil. :(

Make sure you havent toggled this on.
