Looking at Global Lab update, they still nerfing Shai skills damage. Really what's the point of this class if not being good in PvE? I guess I reroll Lahn or Striker like 95% of the player population. Lahn still gets buffs even now, when it's already considered one of the top PvE classes.

Why did I even put $ money and time into this class... It will end up as my mindless gathering and processing lifeskiller.

pvp buff is actually super nice.

There is no pvp buff, they stated:  "(PvP damage is the same as before)" on all the skills, and that only if they dont fuck it up. 

If they would for example change the skill damage from 889% to 827% but not adjust the pvp damage reduction from 27.3% to 21.8% you would do even less damage in pvp.

You can already record your damage now, because i am most certain that they only adjust the overall damage and then say, jobs done, no need to look at the pvp multiplier for Shai...

If you where talking about a different class getting buffed in pvp, i am sorry, for that misunderstanding.

When we look at this, we can see PA is not being unreasonable or unfair with shai changes.. but what you also need to see is she is being transformed :(

 

If you picked shai for her pve advantage, well that’s going away and being replace with her ability to defend here spot. It was always a balance. (not disagreeing that her pve was OP. but that was the trade off, you could be one shot at any time by another player and not fight back well, have your spot taken... but we only get to see the videos where that didnt happen and just see the loot >< boasting videos, Gz!)

 

You could not defend yourself but you could grind blooming well. This was not to everyone’s likening but we had a class with options.

 

You could pick a non pvp class and get OP grinding (that’s the direction we were going)... but there has been a push for shai to also be able to defend her spot.. Reasonable change okay; I have always asked for more survivability but never more damage, been very clear on that, did not want shai to become a pvp class.

 

PvE isn’t my thing, I wasn’t fighting for what I wanted... I though it what shai wanted, but I fear they wanted it all, now you gonna lose what you had.

 

You can’t have the ability to defend your spot on equal terms and have an OP grind, now that unreasonable to ask for… So you are getting neft pve and boosted PvP (I never asked for this, remember that) so that all classes are on the same page.

Correction; its a nothing to pvp this time (no boof no nerf to pvp).. guess thats why they said no 'changes in damage'. Was a little show to do the math

i dont see how this change makes me able to defend my spot... i will still get out grinded, by faster classes, on low level spots and still getting clapped by high gear players in high end spots. Like the 100hp every few seconds will not even help me to run away.

When you are looking back to the last big change, Misty Haze cd, we are getting nerfed in pvp as well (not directly but though overall changes, without compensation).... none of those changes are helping for defending your spot or beeing more viable in pvp like AOS. There is no transformation into becoming a more versatile class, its a damage nerf, with no benefit.

yea, i dont see that "slow creepy" change... same for the pvp benefits, and changes. Shai is still the worst class in 1v1 (by such a huge distance that people say she is unplayable in 1v1). She has become way worse in large scale, because here hp increase was less needed with the overall hp adjustments in node wars. And how they designed AOS with shai not beeing able to get the needed DP values, here healing being reduced to bits and not being able to attack some of the buffs because there hitbox is to high. I really cant see the transformation.

The last 4 years didnt make Shai better in pvp, i am very certain that the next 4 year will not do it either, with going into the same direction.
On the otherside she has become worse at everything, even lifeskilling with having less and less value in the percantage exp gain, the none relavent combat xp gain, and still very slow movement.

While all classes climbing a mounten becoming stronger and stronger from benefits the game offers (more moster ap on awaken Black Star, as a small example). Shai is walking on the gound, with from time to time,  PA throwing some stones at here, to see here tumble.

If you wanna see Shai's current state, just check out how much silver per hour you can make at the newly added Calphon Elvia group grinding zone. ÒnÓ/

Sorry if i offend anyone, just very angy at this point, i will take a nap and hope for a brighter sun tomorrw, or in my case not weather that makes my pc case melt.

i can't say i havent noticed any pve changes.. but thats becuse i dont pve much..

I have felt the pvp changes, not as a DP shai (that i also run,DR) but in AP ... also feel the evesion sheard kicking in, Defo noticable, but that not what shai was menna be ><

These are not the changes, as far as i know, that shai wanted. so they will be of no benfit to you :(

also; dont think anyone offended, but eveyone may be a little 'over excited' 

now i have had time to do the math, wow PA, litterly nothing this time.. removing shai OP Pve and no adding pvp, worse than i thought.. low, just low :(

each time i think PA is beeing reasonable in some fashion, PA prove me wrong >< anyways, your game PA, maybe you feel its time to start wrapping up dev paths, and this is how your doing it?

Anyone who sees this as a balance or a change toward PvP is delusional.

This is a straight up 7% nerf to a class that is NOT efficient ANYWHERE in the game right now.

She has literally been downgraded to PvE leech status where the only way to make decent money is to duo or trio grind high end spots with a striker (probably not after their nerf comes out though) or some other cracked PvE grinder class. She's only there to buff and debuff and the only reason she gets loot is because they made the change to the buffs/debuffs to count as hits against mobs. This entirely relies on the good nature of people in your guild or friends list to carry you to gains now. I personally don't like the idea of having someone carry me to my gains or me having to ask someone if I can grind with them because I can't do it myself.

Shai is a dead class for solo play. If you say otherwise, you want to believe in a myth.
