So I get it, people look at this game as a single player experience (Lord knows why).
But the issue is a statement like "3v3" arena does attract those like myself and others in this forum post whom love to play with their friends in game content. At the moment BDO sorely lacks any content that you can enjoy with your friends. Emphasis on enjoy, an hour into a group farming session and we got movies playing.
I suggest at this point a middle ground:
3v3 arena (with team queing) and 1v1 arena.
Have seperate reward tracks for each OR have the 3v3 one give a wee bit more (or 3v3 gives pity reward and 1v1 does not).
Theres options.
This mode is going to be a dead mode quickly if it loses an enjoyment factor, and doesnt return on the time investement, as thats what BDO is. A time investment.
Personally I'd rather spend my time getting trashed in a 3v3 with my friends/family over winning because I so happened to que with some random top tier uber deluxe pvp-er.

Players originally asked for an 1v1 arena, PA devs just couldn't understand simple instructions.

I never asked for this.
1 v 1 means my class will be useless. 3v3 means I still have a chance to do something. I like the fast queues and quick matches. Premades will be great but should be in a separate queue.

can u even imagine how much bs they would get for balance if they released that tho? :D
they know its out of the question.

It's not like they could make it same class only like they did in the tournaments to hide the fact that the balance is shit...
I would have literraly reinstalled this game if it had team queue.. shame.
Ya know blizz had no trouble matching higher ranks against higher ranks and noobs v noobs in arenas. Some say the player pool aint big enough, ya know why? Because of this half baked bull crap. They dont like e sports? afraid someone might get a carry? You know what? Go big or gtfo. Give kick ass rewards for being a great fkn team and pit high rank against high rank and low agains low. Good god it is so frustrating. Wtf is with the times you cant que also? What you have right now is fun for a minute but once you play a bit and no ones in chat or willing to team up its extremely dissapointing.
Queuing with friends and being able to work out a comp together, communicate better and practice together puts solo players at a disadvantage and feels really unfun. I would rather they keep it solo for the health of this mode. Maybe duos would be fine but even then, what tends to happen is that the solo player gets blamed by the duo if they lose.
Other competitive games have been doing that for years (Overwatch being one that comes to mind). It's absolutely normal for premade teams to have an advantage over random teams. This is how ranked should work, those who actually take the time and communicate are always gonna have the upper hand. Isn't this the point of competitive e-sports?
I can see the sentiment of solo-queue players having a rough time since it can be hard for some to find other friends to group up with, but they wont really get locked out of this content. They wont reach the highest rank either, but at least they can still enjoy playing AoS and who knows, later down the line they might be also able to make some friends along the way to play with.

No, only shittier semi dead games put premades together with randoms.
