Since we have so many new people, I thought I'd write a small tutorial to introduce everyone to the most common themes seen on these forums so that you can find out where you fit in. BDO forum threads always have a few reliable variables:
1. The main topic group: This usually consists of OP and two or three others who they are arguing with. Every topic on the BDO forums is an argument, no exceptions aside from screenshot threads. If no argument arises by the third or fourth post, the fatality rate for the thread rises to 94.3%. If no argument has come about after three to five days, it will be buried beyond page 3 and will be lost.
2. The agreeable passersby: People who chime in and get a couple of likes from every side because they just like the game and can see both sides. They tend not to stay to argue. They are, in a word, normal. Unfortunately, this does not help perpetuate the argument so they are rarely responded to.
3. The lost non-English speaker: Someone whose second language is English shows up and posts their thoughts which are entirely unrelated to the thread.
4. The peanut gallery: People who post gifs and blatantly laugh at the argument.
I hope this helps! If I've missed any, I'll update as is appropriate.
Yes. Thou it's not as good as on the old forums since these forums are a pain to navigate. Did you got your outfit yet? Just kidding, you don't deserve it!
I miss true forum PvP. I must not deserve it because they haven't added it yet. :(
...yet.
