Hi guys, i'm currently owning a RX 5700XT with a 3700x as CPU. My game is suffering from stuttering and really high frametime spike. I know my cpu can be tuned down to 6cores and disable smt and stuffs but my graphic card is just unsuitable for this game isn't it? Is there any tips and tricks you guys can share to make things feels smoother and less stuttering? Please share.
I haven't been able to find anything yet. Running an RTX 3090 and 5800X, had the same problem with RTX 2080 Ti and 3900X as well as RTX 3080 and 3900X. I have followed all of the guides to the maximum degree possible (even the debloating Windows one that practically removes every native Metro style app like the calculator), messed around with Nvidia Profile Inspector on my own and more but still haven't been able to find a solution.

There is only one solution, STOP changeing stuff in windows or software, changeing to 60hz and vsync ON, then you get 60 fps, and no more stutter :)
Using Process Lasso:
1. Open Process Lasso while BDO is not running.
2. At the top of the window, click Options, and then CPU.
3. Click on Configure persistent CPU affinities.
4. In the window that appears, type in "BlackDesertLauncher.exe" and select which CPU cores you want to be set for that process like you normally would, and finally click Add to list and then OK at the bottom of the window.
5. Run the launcher. The settings you set in Process Lasso will be applied.
Do the same for consistent CPU priorities, setting the launcher priority to High.
The game will stutter a lot with multi-threaded CPUs, even more so if you have "auto arrange" ticked in your inventory while grinding. Either disable SMT/HT or follow the steps above.
With a 3900X and 2080 Ti, there's rarely any stuttering (really only happens when riding horseback at max speed which is normal even when the game is on an SSD)

People don't pay thousands of dollars on expensive hardware to play games at higher quality settings and framerates just to lock it to 60.
Pearl Abyss should be optimising their game to handle hyper-threading and simultaneous multi-threading, because more people are starting to upgrade their systems now and are opting for at least 4C/8T or 6C/12T CPUs.

Still a shame this shit needs to be done to get somewhat of a smooth experience. You can't even manualy disable affinity anymore (What I used to do as I don't want process lasso to be running in the background constntly)
Proper multidollar company.

You can change affinity, you have to change the affinity of the launcher, not the game executable. I put steps earlier.

Maybe this will be helpful for some of you. Until yday i was in the stuttering club. I did all what people write about prevent stuttering and what ? Nothing ! And i fixed it myself. When game was removing some frames(stuttering) i heard my Hdd is working - it should be disabled cause was not used. So i unplugged them from matherboard and left only SSD plugged in, and guess what ... no more stutter 🥰🥰
Sory for bad english.

That sounds like you have a pagefile enabled on your mechanical hard-drive.
You can change that setting in Advanced System Settings, under Virtual Memory Management.
Set it so that the pagefile is only on your SSD drive (and only one pagefile)
