Using Process Lasso:
1. Open Process Lasso while BDO is not running.
2. At the top of the window, click Options, and then CPU.
3. Click on Configure persistent CPU affinities.
4. In the window that appears, type in "BlackDesertLauncher.exe" and select which CPU cores you want to be set for that process like you normally would, and finally click Add to list and then OK at the bottom of the window.
5. Run the launcher. The settings you set in Process Lasso will be applied.
Do the same for consistent CPU priorities, setting the launcher priority to High.
The game will stutter a lot with multi-threaded CPUs, even more so if you have "auto arrange" ticked in your inventory while grinding. Either disable SMT/HT or follow the steps above.
With a 3900X and 2080 Ti, there's rarely any stuttering (really only happens when riding horseback at max speed which is normal even when the game is on an SSD)
Yes but there is a fix for stutter, CPU affinities will not help you at all, only remove evrything from your UI, and lock it to 60HZ, and ofc i will not do that, but maybe will help some players.
According to Google, the AMD RX 5700 series requires a minimum of a 600W power supply, suggested 650W, but for Optimal Performance it should run on a 700W power Supply. Have you looked into upgrading your power supply?
Maybe this will be helpful for some of you. Until yday i was in the stuttering club. I did all what people write about prevent stuttering and what ? Nothing ! And i fixed it myself. When game was removing some frames(stuttering) i heard my Hdd is working - it should be disabled cause was not used. So i unplugged them from matherboard and left only SSD plugged in, and guess what ... no more stutter 🥰🥰
Sory for bad english.
Write if was helpful.
I have a 3080/9900k/3200mhz 16gb/970 evo SSD
And game still stutters randomly and timed.
Partly its because of the UI and partly I dunno.
The fact you're not getting any stutters/micro stutters is impossible just FYI.For example if you use the minimap the game has timed microstutters. It's just a fact. You simply don't notice them.

This has been an issue for years that has yet to be fixed. It has something to do with the UI (mainly the minimap)

Your logic makes no sense, because if it was a power issue, his PSU would be shutting off. The stuttering is primarily related to the CPU, all Ryzen systems will have above average stuttering if it's not set up properly.
Please don't give technical advice anymore if you're just going to spend other people's money like that.

It's a mish-mash of CPU (BDO hates multi-threading technology like HT and SMT), and the game itself (engine, servers, UI elements)
You can reduce stuttering in combat by disabling auto-sorting in your bag, and you can reduce stuttering while travelling (especially on a fast horse) by running off of an SSD and disabling the minimap.

Was there a recent update causing more micro stutters then usual?Just came back and grinding in poli forest and I was getting random micro stutters that were not there before.

Not that I'm aware of. Combat has been smooth for me.
