Guys,are you serious? The effort of grinding mobs is way times bigger than any LS. Rotations, constantly duels for spots and etc etc.... If PA make LS profit same or close to Grinding's profit, WHO will ever grinding? This will be more like AfkDesertOnline . Few hours of grinding ,and your head hurts,getting brain dmg and your fingers..... Pressing only "R" at Piligram is way more easy,and even chilling,compared with grinding. And you want to say ,that the profit should be the same? Really?
I can grind with terrible gear and still make more money than i can with guru gathering and hunting. For those of us who love lifeskills, this kills our appetite to continue on. PA get your shit together or it's time to find another game.

Oh its terrible. Is bartering still worth doing? I've been working on my ship just to have a cool ship but the money for it later would be nice. But overall I think Morolan TV put it best with this statement. There's boat loads of pre-orders on gatherables but the price is capped on the marketplace so people see no reason to go out and gather them. Like I get wolf meat to try and get hards and sharps and selling that meat I make was is essentially nothing because of the market cap.
I don't think grind spots need to be nerfed but this game needs to have the same kind of money earned in other areas of the game.
Lifeskilling, PVP, and PVE grind/group grind / dungeons should all yield good money!!!!
The game gates you with RNG enhancing anyways late game you could be rich af lifeskilling and still just have terrible RNG and be capped on gear for a long while.
They need to make all activities profitable you have a choice what you want to do. Thats where BDO excels. You play how you want to play. Right now the only option is grinding in a circle.

Also gathering for example is limited by energy.
Currently the only life skills which worth be done are the afk or semi-afk ones: fishing, cooking (mostly imperial boxes), alchemy (this doesn't worth for imperial boxes because the recipes have a loot of bottleneck ingredients) and trade.

In addition, 35% tax in the market completely kills life skill when compared to raw silver (0% tax) from mobs thrash.

You need meat - you need to collect it, you waste your time and you need energy.
You need milk - you have to collect yourself, you waste your time and you need energy.
At the end, when you add up hours spent on collecting ingredients and cooking time, you see that you have earned a penny per hour, and you have a daily limit, so you didn't even earn 120m per day, but much less.
I will go and play one hour per day in marni private zone collecting mini parts for the infinity potion and I have 120-250m in an hour.
I've already written here that for a long time all life skills are dead and worthless, even bartering.

i am doing a full focus hours of grinding a day for near 1 billion, then do another 2-3 hours of super chill lifeskill for another 1.5 billion in general in my daily routine.
You have to stop wanting to systematically do only one and only thing, that this thing must necessarily be at the same level as all the others.
At no time should picking up weed or meat or cutting trees be rewarded more or equal than grinding which has a risk factor whether it is on the grind spot itself or by competition against players.
Especially since good PA patch prices a little randomly and because of his lifeskill was superior to grinding for several periods.

Gathering get a 170-200m profit boost on GL 2 week ago. when the materials will have reached their new maximum price. We're going to have log gathering at 700 m / h.... Which technically beats 95% of the grind spots.. On yellow ls and aigris...

my current goal is 1 years worth of guru boxs roughly 80,000 boxs and even if i buy EVERYTHING to make it..
