Create Awakening Exclusive Rabams That are Interchangeable With Pre-awakening Rabams

This is a more ambitious suggestion. With succession still being dominant in PvP, I think awakening for all classes should have more choices. Core skills just added more random elements to the game such as wondering if a players skill is protected or unprotected and so on. The idea of awakening exclusive rabams is for awakening players that enjoy the awakening aesthetic. It could enable more synergy and playstyles for certain classes by allowing players to choose if they want a more awakening focused gameplay or better synergy with the pre-awakening main hand. For example, a majority of nova players would probably take pre-awakening rabams because she really doesn't have a good swap from awakening to pre-awakening but other nova players may take an awakening rabam because they want more damage options that keep or swap them to awakening. Take into consideration that current rabam skill damage is based on pre-awakening main hand AP so there is no need to have so much stats built into awakening while playing succession. Awakening rabam skills should be based on awakening weapon AP.

Ex: Ninja Awakening Rabam Choices (You can pick a maximum of 3 rabams)
- Katana Spree (Awakening Rabam) (Damage & Crowd Control)
- Sudden Intent (Awakening Rabam) (Mobility & Crowd Control)
- Oni Shadow (Pre-awakening Rabam) (Stealth)

Yeah and I hope this balance story arc can reach the final chapter which is nerfing succession wizard. Pearl abyss, complete this story arc so the game can progress. I've gotten tired of hearing balance, BaLaNce, balance, BALANCE, everyday of playing. Classes in BDO have different roles for PvP. You can make wizard awakening good at 1v1 (succession wizard though) but you can't balance him to have a 60% win rate against ninja for example. Classes are just vastly different. PvE on the other hand should be fair all around. If a class is making more trash loot then I want to make as much trash loot. Buff my class.

People just expect their class to do more than intended (succession wizard). There are some classes that are good all around (succession wizard). Saying stuff can be broken because pure balance isn't possible doesn't make sense. Some classes are actually just strong to certain classes. Each class in the game has it's own role. For example ninja, kuno, lahn, musa, maehwa, are good 1v1 classes. They also compete with each other in a ranked format. You have classes like mages, ranger, guardian, that good at large scale pvp. Classes are vastly different so just improve what the class is good at with some adjustments that will help with competence in other areas. Hearing an awake wizard or awake witch call for a class like ninja to be nerfed is the flawed logic. It's why we got mage succession. The slightest small scale improvements like a seamless kit just skyrocketed the large scale performance.

Another thing I believe is the game is feeling the effects of having so many classes. This year, we will see a lot of changes for classes. I hope with self-publishing, voices will be heard even better.

I don't see the harm in letting players select 3 rabams total. They can chose between awakening rabam and pre-awakening rabam. The only thing to worry about is the skill not being good. Some people like the awakening aesthetic or want a more awakening focused playstyle. The developers said they plan to add one new skill per class which I think will make things more clunkly for awakening (especially on console). I agree with majority of the stuff you say since I talk about it and debate about it with idiots everyday. Balance this balance that yeah I get it. I've been talking about balance since succession release. I think this idea can work if the developers put enough heart into it. Honestly, I think you're just looking too much into balance when in reality the awakening rabam suggestion may help classes. If you don't know, there were players that were asking for an awakening only version of their class similar to succession. I thought it sounded cool but when you do the actual research, it's just not feasible with the technology and current game balance. Awakening rabams is my idea of the so called awakening only spec. Instead of making that, just add options that make a class more awakening focused. The reason why succession is so good is due to the seamless playstyle. It's a single kit without weapon swapping. It's more condensed which sometimes makes it more efficient. There's no pauses or breaks . All your damage is available without c swapping. The idea of awakening rabams is to make the class even more focused on awakening such as keeping the player in awakening or swapping to awakening more often. Like I said, it's optional because some players like the mix between awakening and pre-awakening so they will take the regular pre-awakening rabams. A good example of this is nova because she really needs pre-awakening rabams for synergy. All her swaps to pre-awakening are terrible. I hope the game reaches a point to it's considered balanced by a good amount of players. It's all up to pearl abyss. As of lately, their idea of balancing was adding more RNG and super armors in PvP which is just lazy. There are a ton of options they can explore such as increasing attack speed, reducing cooldowns, etc.

Awakening rabam skills would be good for the game, and IMO bring greater balance to the "SUCC vs AWAK".

Yeah, because succession is full pre-awakening. There is no c swapping to awakening for damage and mobility. All your mobility, buffs, and damage are available in one kit so it's very fluid. With awakening you constantly have pause and breaks during fights. Lets say I want a more awakening focused gameplay to minimize pause and breaks with pre-awakening swaps, I'd maybe take 2 awakening rabams skills and 1 preawakening rabam skills. If awakening gets more options to stay in awake such as mobility and damage, I think it will level the playing field with succession.
