Can u realise that most of players dont need this budget lore stuff? All quests for me its just spamming R. Why should i fight this bosses without gear for 5 min. And why we still need leveling and go through annoying storyline in 2022 if i complete it on my main character? This game not about story ffs. Just let us create new class 60 lvl already with 1600 sp, keep ur story for new comers.

Personally I made a new character to experience it, I find it will be a lot easier for the new players to follow.  You don't speak for everyone and neither do I.  Some will hate it, others will love it.  I already have my originals beyond this point, so most veteran players will not even notice it, unless they are creating new characters.

This game is about story, Pearl Abyss told you their story as they wrote it.  They want it to be a story based game, they made the Eternal Mountain 90% story mode and 10% combat.  What you want is a fast track to end game and the PA team is telling you their story. You must be playing the wrong game, if you thought otherwise.

Thats the problem, BDO is a niche game already and they aim for lorefrogs, a niche of a niche and on top story isn't good and they waste so much dev time on that.... 

Why cant devs feel proud about making good mechanics, balancing content or creating content that this game is about... grinding!!! No one thinks about BDO and says: "Thats a story game!"

Uhm, if you don't like story then... keep spamming R? BDO has gems of lore hidden in the world and I think it's great they're trying to improve the story. Just let the people who enjoy story enjoy it, and you can go back to grinding (which has also been improved). Simple as.

You can read my review thread in feedback.  I titled it "New Pro-logues and Cons..."  I don't see this as being a waste, but there are aspects that would need to be changed assuming I ever made another new character.  Edana1 is correct, you can skip a lot of the speeches but then there are some added cut scenes they made that cannot be skipped and tells you this in the corner of the screen.

I don't understand how players, who have been here longer than I, believe this should affect them at all.  Unless you are making up new characters all the time, none of this is visible.  I highly suspect, there are people here, who cannot say anything nice about Black Desert.   

If you don't like the game, and felt it was really that bad,  you would not be here talking about it.

Let people who don't care story skipping.

The new Balenos questline is really nice. I can say I have almost no idea what is going on. Something about ancient weapons and black spirit that either posses or influences me.. Then there are otters and other animal people that I have no clue about and I guess some regions have kings, but doesn't seem like it or not sure what they do.
