Took a few months break and now I guess they updated the Background music so now i hear Intense music outside of Heidel while pruning my farms.    Then nothing while grinding for 40 mins at Swamp fogans lol.

The first OST when BDO launched was perfect with riding music back in 2016.  Then they removed the Riding music.  Now this....  Why?..

Since the New Music system was released, which is basically a Region based playlist instead of Region based individual themes, there have been a number of issues. Outside of the major cities and towns, the themes don't always line up with the context they're supposed to. For some area's like Dreighan it works ok in grind zones, but particularily in Calpheon, Mediah, Serendia, and Margoria, it's really... really bad. Hoping that the Part 2 of the music update adresses all of this when they add in the riding music they're working on but... a lot of people have lost hope on that as there's been no comment from CM's or GM's as of yet. The Thread linked above was the main feedback thread for these issues for a while. 

Hopefully people will notice this thread and check in on the original, and post their concerns!  The music is BAD and so desperately needs to be fixed!  Developers, please notice this and listen to us!!!

P.S.  There have been a couple bright spots from this update.  The alternate Calpheon and Velia themes are AWESOME, because they are the same songs, and they FIT.  Plus they're beautiful songs!  The music playing in Kamasylvia is GREAT, but.... they ruined Polly's and Grana.  And Mediah...... Poor Mediah!!!  The music now has no relation to Mediah WHATSOEVER.  Please have the original tracks and the new arrangements play where they belong!
