The fact that is a new adventure log, even if it's for new players, doesn't mean that it has to be fully completed in 1-2 days. The first part of the books isn't difficult and it gives you a lot of useful CP. But if you want to make the rest, you need to keep playing, progress, and achieve your goal (gaining more CP in the process). There's nothing wrong with the new log, just with the mentality of "new book, new adventurers, unable to do it in 30 mins".
You can use Fughar's Secret Book, a secret text of the Crow Merchants Guild, to gain a large amount of Contribution EXP.
* If your maximum Contribution Points (CP) shared by your Family is 200 CP, once you complete all of Fughar's Times of Success, you will be able to increase your Family-wide CP to 230 CP.
Do you think I care about this log? I finished the whole = it didn't even give me 1 CP.
I am simply stating the fact: that if someone uses the phrase "large amount" and compare exp to 200 - 230 CP this is content for someone who plays ... 2 months but log requires end game gear.
It's not a problem to have 230 or 240 AP, the problem starts higher when even 1 AP costs tens of billions or a year of play and 230, 240 or even 269 AP it's not enough for an effective playing.
Do Kratuga in 5 man. Crow Nest is AP capped and about tactics.
OK, give me each class with 61 lvl and weapons because one class do Crow Nest bosses with 180 AP other have problems even with 290 AP. "Balance".
Again, again and again. Again we see that the creators of this game do not play it and do not know it.
Contribution Points (CP) are an absolute must to fully enjoy the various, deep content of Black Desert. However, to attain a decent amount of CP requires a large investment of time, and many novice adventurers may feel daunted by this prospect when playing Black Desert for the first time. To address this issue, we added "Fughar's Times of Success" as the 12th adventure log. By following the footsteps of Fughar, who made a name for himself with his own two bare hands, you will find that you've accrued quite the Contribution EXP upon completing this log.
So they added new Fughar's log with CP as rewards. New log for new players.
Ok great. NOT. The beginning is available to everyone but then we can hit epic wall:
1. Killing mobs in Kratuga. ROTFL. This is 250 AP (suggested) zone!!! The truth is that even 269 AP soft cap has nothing to look there. But new log for new players.
2. Completion Crow's Nest quests line. ROTFL again. Problem is: this is content for top players with eng game items. Yes i know that few "PA favorite classes" is able to defeat bosses with much lower stats but all the rest cannot.
So congratulations PA, congratulations, again EPIC FAIL.
FYI: The most powerful way to obtain CP in BDO is via the cash shop.
It will completely demolish any quests, events, or other methods.
I wasn't aware new players are restricted from forming groups.
Maybe OP lives on another planet.
Some are motivated through obstacles. Some are motivated by perceived "difficulty".
Some are demotivated by an obstacle. Some are discouraged when something isn't easily done.
Which one are you?

How does your populist propaganda address any of the OP's concerns ?
Additionally, what do you suggest. Nothing, as usual.

Great question. The OP pointed out the value of CP and the difficulty in obtaining. I wonderfully gave a dazzling response on the quickist way to obtain massive amounts of CP.
Maybe your populist ideas can't fathom the center middle left stuff I'm bringing.
And lets not forget as per the usual I was 100% correct, but you already knew that!

OP isn't asking how to obtain massive amounts of CP quickly he's questionning how 2 elements of adventure logs are suited to new players.
Once again, your populist bs has been elegantly exposed as such.
Additionally, the question remains: what do you suggest in order to address OP's concerns apart from your usual and irrelevant nothings.

I like how you pointed out his "populist" propoganda and he went "nuh uh, you're a populist!" in his retort.
@Retto Can you explain how the cash shop is the "most powerful" way to get CP?
Need I remind you, this is what you typed:

This answer is precisely on point. OP and various bsers such as Retteo should take this as an example on how to apply a thought process to the pretend issues.
