I like the New Marnie's Realm, but it's not completely PVP free

The new Marnie's Realm is such a welcomed relief and a change in BDO that is greatly needed.  Let's face it, not everyone likes PVP, and PA should at least admit to that.  So, allowing BDO players to enjoy other regions in this game without the threat or fear of overly aggressive players killing them in one shot is much appreciated.  This game should be enjoyed by anyone who wants to play and not have their gameplay ruined by campers and greifers.

With that said, Marnie's Realm is not completely PVP free.  For one its a matter of getting to the zone where you can get killed with a camping player already there, and again when leaving Marnie's Realm.  And just switching servers you still have the chance of dropping right into a PVP situation, so getting there and leaving there defeats the purpose of having a PVP free experience in some of BDO's more exclusive areas.

But, no matter, I offer a suggestion.  BDO devs should introduce an item that can get you to a Marnie's Realm zone from a safe place and return to that "safe" place.  The item could be a consumable that you can buy from an NPC, or maybe it drops while you're grinding monsters, or do a daily to earn this item.  Maybe make it a permanent item that is legendary where you collect pieces for it like Ornette's or Odett's pots. Or all of the above.  PA could call it "Marnie's Safe Passage."  Perhaps offer another item that can extend the time in Marie's Realm, so it's not one hour max.

The point is I've got  a relatively uncontested  game play experience that I enjoyed, and I was even able to gather without the worry of another player ganking me.  For example it was the first time I ventured to Polly's Forest since I started playing BDO (but I was killed on my way there by a PVP player nearby) and enjoyed it because it allowed me to try another area, while my regular grinding site are starting to get brutally boring, enough for me to just quit the game (e.g. there's no hope to advance because the other, more lucrative zones are just too contested).

I hope BDO will build on Marnie's Realm making a PVP free experience more accessible to attract more, and keep players to the game.  Otherwise, I'm seriously considering quitting for at least 30 days (while playing other games) to become a returning member and play on the Olvia servers.

Please make Marnie's Realm more accessible!

Thanks for reading my suggession.

Fear? You need to relax. It's just a game and you loose absolutely nothing by getting killed in PvP. There's no reason to pop any scrolls before you enter the zone and the area of entry is pretty large, it's not a spot.

And again - it's just a game you don't have to stress over getting your character killed in PvP.

Oh noooo I can be killed once a 2353456536 year and lose nothing... this is too much, nothing is too important to be lose... PA do something please, its not normal to die in PvE game...

On a serios note. Can be lvl49 char tagged to main char? That way the OP can go to desired spot look for players and if they are not there can cahnge... or just play single playr game. Any cracked BDO client? Seriously....

One big probem in yours s. theory: you will be attacked unexpectedly, as if it is pvp and you are being killed by a mob.

Areas are not large. Most private zones don't have good place to leave horse.

BDO in principle is still an open-world pvp game. Marni's was introduced because some meta spots were getting too contested. I doubt PA would do anything more to them since they will end up fundamentally changing how BDO works, otherwise PA would have made everything instanced right from the start.

Marni's realm IS completely PvP free, once you enter.

While traveling from town A to place B is not marni's realm. That's a travelling distance betweeb A and B in the open world.

Considering I might have the idea(but not going to say for several reasons), where this is going to lead to I say: No to that. There's little to no reason at all. Big deal, if I get ambushed on the way by anybody as I don't take the game that seriously. Such situation usually happens like once in 1-2 years. Even rarer perhaps.

Scoff as much as you like about having "fear" in BDO's PVP gameplay, but psychological studies show a strong correlation of players having "fight or flight" physiological responses when playing some online games.  The effects are real in children and adults that can range to euphoria to anxiety and even depression or low-self esteem.

And ? Nobody forces anybody to play the game, players are here by their own choices. If a player is really uncomfortable with the basic settings of this or that game (not only BDO, any game), there are plenty of other offers more suitable to his tastes, the video game market is plethoric.

Moreover, children should'nt play BDO : violent content and micro transactions, the game is classified 16 +

Otherwise : yes Marni's chamber is completely PvP free. It's just that the game is more than said chambers.

If I would see somthing changed about them, it would be a seruious debugging pass on the limits of the zones, because you can be stuck or expelled out of the zone if you use certain skills too close from the invisible wall and it's quite anoying. Same stuff occurs in AoS, it's not very serious for what is supposed to be a finished product with QA and tests.

And that's when one should realize this game is not for him/her if it reaches such a point. Euphoria, anxiety, depression, low-self esteem... Nobody should feel that for an online game.
