Hi.

There has been a nerf to the Loyalty Shop for Free-2-Players. Value Pack (1 day) e.g. now costs 2800 Loyalties instead of 1400 Loyalties. Inventory slots are limited to 8 purchases in total per character - it was unlimited before, you could upgrade to 192 inventory slots if you had the Loyalties.

There is an event that rewards extra Loyalties, but I doubt that this would be permanent.

What in the hell? Why? Was it too OP? 

You get twice as much loayality now, so nothing changed in VP.

And loyality inventory was a bad invesment even before.

So next game content hidden behing p2w wall because without inv slots from loyalties going out into the ocean (e.g. fishing with a harpoon) makes no sense.

To each his own in which items they choose to purchase.  The Value Pack essentially hasn't changed due to the doubling of daily rewards.  However, the inventory slots are valuable and should not be limited.

Additionally, the amount of inventory slots is skyrocketing as new classes are added on a regular basis.

Any competent fisherman can get the job done with free slots, regardless of the scenario (harpooning, hotspot fishing or AFK overnight).

Source: I caught a fish or 2 as proved in my profile and I rarely need more than 75 slots within a single session.

You seem to imply that every player needs to max 192 slots for every character they own, why is clearly not needed at all.

Even activities that were historically heavy on requiring inv slots to perform optimally such has fishing have evolved to the point that free slots are enough to get the job done. Case in point, high level fishers can discard every rarity of fish but keep yellows (where the money is, besides relics) for example.

Going further than free slots is a luxury in most cases, that only caters to laziness of various degrees since there are free logistical solutions to storage issues.

While we do receive twice the amount of Loyalty daily, it's still a nerf in terms of those of us that banked our Loyalties. I for example have about 24k Loyalty banked so essentially worth only half that now.

Although I am willing to pay the monthly for a value pack, I can see that this is a nerf.
