I'm not giving you guys money for a casino. Want more of my money make a product I can buy not gamble for.

I want to grind for a bit, kill some monsters, hangout in the chat with my guild mates, and unwind but not feel like I'm wasting my time.

But, BDO has it hard set on being: Waste your time grinding, Gamble, FAIL, and repeat.

That's nice am I a new player? No. What did I get? A new casino with extra steps. How about those new accessories? Just start over farming new mobs, that you need max gear to farm. Have fun blowing those up; you loved blowing them up so much the first time.

Why do you hate this game PA? Like why does BDO have to suck? Is it really so much more profitable to be a trash casino? Because I have spent lots of money and never for the purpose of melting for Cron.

I just don’t get it. Never have. And never will. I guess the best way to play BDO is uninstall for like 3 years come back & then do the catch up mechanic content that fells like actual fun gameplay then stop the moment you enter the grind for hours, get outfits, melt, cron, fail. Or grind for months and month to buy one item to be stuck at the exact same spots doing the exact same thing.

 The way Godr SHOULD have worked:

1. It should have had its own enhancement fail stack system.
2. Each time you fail the enhancement success increases drastically. And each tier should have its own recorded stack.

Example:

Base to PRI - Starts out 25% -> 50% -> 75% -> 100

If it goes that counter resets. But the next level starts. So you have a DUO it fails the 25%, goes back to PRI, You hit DUO again now its 50%. You fail next time its 75%. Ok Now you hit TRI, DUO & PRI reset you go for TET same thing 25%.... etc etc.

So at some point you will 100% pitty out. Now do I love it? No. I think enhancing is trash. A much better system would be turn in a TET Blackstar then farm for gems & rare loot then get 100% guaranteed enhances. Ie directly rewarding you for your TIME & EFFORT! But if your going to make a gambling sim then it doesn't need to be fail at 5% forever because we hate our customers. Because you do. Make no mistake you hate us. No other reason this system exist, as it does, other than you hate us. If I said there was a 5% chance you would get a paycheck for working 40-50 hours a week, I wonder how long you would keep working for me? Do you think BDO is just so much fun that we are ok with this? No of course it isnt.

 If you are offended by this thread please consider seeking help if you suffer from addiction. It would seem all of these systems are created for habit forming addiction for economic exploitation. Despite the games rating not being A/O 18+.

You are just a pleb without enough ressources trying to enhance something too big for him. First you gather enough ressources then you try to enhance.

In most mmorpgs gear matters and getting a bis item is not easy. Everyone wants bis for every slot but most people don't get these items. Would you cry if you one-tapped a bis? Would you delete the item because it's unfair how easily you've got it? Sure, it's not great some people get items with 0 effort but handing off free bis would be worse.

No one is forcing you to enhance. Buy the items. The cost will be the same at best. Most of the time enhancing costs more than buying items.

IDK why ppl even bother with the new noobtrap item when it's not better to enchance it than the old BS.

I don't intend on ever torturing myself trying to get PEN BS.

I spent barely nothing to buy DUO Godr for 3 extra AP.

PEN BS costs way too much, and this is a good middleground that cost me little. Better than having 3 less AP.

Why do you think 99% of new players leave after a month?

1. Forced toxic unwated open pvp.

2. Medieval item enchanting system (3% chance, item degradation, item disappearance).

3. Very big game but without fast travel system.

4. Punishing players for everything. Dead = you lose exp, dead = you lose crystals.

5. This stupid "elitism". PA is happy that only 0.001% of players have a Nouver outfit. ROTFL. Only a lunatic can spend 45b on it.

Addition of jetina items was a good step forward, and now with godr again two steps back.

Also there is still no way to get accessories.

Playing BDO is pointless because it gives you no progress.

I bought all my TET tungrad accessories and all TET Black stars weapons. And that's all you can buy in this game. Better items are 20 years of grind if someone wants to buy them. And someone else has to be willing to sell them.

People leave the game for different reasons I suppose. If they leave because of your "five" - good riddance. I wonder why you don't move on.

1. BDO is a PvPvE game. The game is not at alpha or beta stage. What do you mean by "unwanted" PvP. You don't join an open world PvPvE game to start crying on about it. Find a game that suits your playstyle don't go out trying to ruin the experience of people who care for an open world PvPvE game. That's more toxic than any form of PvP in BDO.

2. Enhancing is not the only option to progress in BDO. Enhancing naru is a joke, full pen tuvala is dead easy. After that just buy your gear if you don't like the enhancing system. There's probably a ton of guides on the subject.

3. Yes, the world is quite big and fast travel is the last thing this game needs. Get a fast horse - drift -> ia -> s:ia. Rinse, repeat. Autopath - get your arse of the chair and stretch a bit, have a brew or water, take a piss, do something else for a change. No fast travel!

4. Don't die. Carry few gathering trade items, they are included in the "omg what did I just loose" table. Don't die. If you do die blame yourself not the game. Get good and don't die.

5. Yes, that outfit is a flex item that not everyone is going to have. Not everyone will have pen BiS items either. It's how it's supposed to be. You are playing a mmorpg - shocking innit. 

Yes, the Jetina quests are a great step in the right direction, you can work on one pen accessory too. Again, BiS items shouldn't be easily accessible. Godr weapons offer incremental progress and do have a downside of costing more. No one is forcing them on you.

 If you don't like the game don't play it, as simple as that. Crying on the forum doesn't give progress in any game. Why do you torture yourself playing a game you have nothing good to say for? If the bad you see outweighs the good - move on. Why do you push for changes which could ruin the experience for people who actually like the game? 

A game shouldn't change just because you can't figure out how to play it. Sure BDO is not perfect but PA are updating it every week. Yes, they do miss the mark with some changes but that is to be expected, however a lot of good progress has been made.
