Godr was good for me.
Made some tets sold for 70 and maxed out my dande and nouver. Thanks PA.
But my friend, i don't want to lose 150.000 Karma with a single PK in normal servers, are you sure that this is what the players want?
BDO is a PvE game where you get punished for doing PvP in it.
Hence why people often cheat the system by "mob - feeding" other people.
Oh ye. . .let me remind you that "mob - feeding" is now a bannable offence, so ye pretty much BDO is a PvPvE game lol.
If it was really a PvP game, you wouldn't get punished with 20 minutes of grinding for a single kill, nor get banned for using arleady in game systems created by developers themselfs.
But noone punish you for pvp, just play where you should ... on arsha.
This video is a great at explaining of how little uppermanagment in companies like EA, Blizzard, and PA actually care about making an enjoyable game. Yes, they think it pure idiocy to listen to player feedback and design something consumers will actually enjoy when they can just manipulate the game's design to push cash shop sales over just making the game more enjoyable. This is how little they valvue passionate developers, and player feedback.
Which player beside you has ever said this over and over again?
Because you think the vocal minorities (and for once, I'm include myself here) have any weight in front of the 1000s of players currently ingame?
Actions speak louder than words, you have both aspects in the game and it still works after several years. Meanwhile, you can keep pretending that most players are suffering from a Stockholm Syndrome and keep playing while they hate the game.

You don't want, you said it. But that's how a controlled owpvp is, you don't kill anyone without consequence, that's the idea.
And you don't "cheat" anything by using mob feeding, some people want to use bodythrow, others will use mob feeding. An eye for an eye, for sure I would expect a better way to solve all this, but that's how it is.
There's also war decs.
And don't remind me something wrong. Mob feeding is not a bannable offence here, and even in Japan, the rule is more complicated than "mob feeding = ban". Just check. All those who think like that will be in for a big disappointment if it ends up in our servers too! XD
And again, BDO is not a PvP game. It's a PvPvE game, and controlling pvp is a good way to ensure pve (and the gear coming with it) can still be done on a regular basis. A good way, but not the only one.
Open your eyes, just check the game : 1-hour Marni. I mean, that's the perfect proof of what devs want, one hour 5 minutes per day for you to maximize your efficiency on any grind spot, burn your scrolls / agris / whatever, no interference... But after that, you HAVE to go back to the "real and dangerous" world if you want to keep on grinding.
You don't grind more than one hour? Well, free gift, you can use all this time to progress.
You grind more than 1 hour but you're a pure pve player? TOO BAD BUDDY!
Since the start, there are plenty of little things putting some limits to the impact the pvp can have on pve, they tweaked them many times, they created new ones... Am I disturbed by that? Not at all, that's intended in pvpve game.
Last but not least, Arsha is not crowded. It's also a good indicator of what most players want : they don't want a FFA setting when they grind.

And my favorite example: CSGO. Only skins. And what profit? Gigantic. So huge that Valve doesn't even have to and don't want to make Half Life 3. Because what for? Every 3 months a new box and money flows into them like a river. And absolute zero p2w. But why it works? Because players can make money on it!
Of course it is more difficult with mmorpg games but it is possible. Unfortunately, companies like Pearl Abyss prefer aggressive p2w and the effects can be seen.

Simple question for all those "pvp players": if all the zones in the game had private zones and they had no limit, would you play there?
Yes? Why? There are no other players, so where's your pvp?
And so the claim that someone wants PVP in BDO while killing mobs is refuted.

So don't quote me and ask this to pvp players, I'm not one of them. XD
Meanwhile, you already got an answer from a pvpve player. And it stays true.
But noone punish you for pvp, just play where you should ... on arsha.
Dude it's called sarcasm. . .
If the game was PvEvP, you wouldn't get punished with that harsh penalties.
It's a PvE game.
Main goal of the game is to PEN caphras everything.
How do you achieve that goal?
By blowing your mind off by doing PvE for 1 million hours, until you get 100+ bill silver.
@Sadalsuud : wtf is even controled PvP?
It's the only game i've heard that has a "controled PvP".
They control the market, you can't trade between players so they control the trading, they control the PvP. . .
is there "ANYTHING" in this game that PLAYERS control instead of the developers themselves?
This is a sad joke.
You can't trade / you can't sell at the price you want / there is no freedom in the game (controled PvP as you claimed), so BDO is a single player game for lunatics, that grind until they die from old age in front of their monitor, with zero and non existant social and group gameplay, because you are get punished with less drops and EXP when you group up with other people and more.
Explain to me how with all these things BDO is a fun game, when everything is controled by developers themselves, and the game has non existant group and social content?

What you, and those devs are not smart enough to understand is that it's those microtransactions what puts food into the devs mouth.

Ya tell that to the developers who are foruced to work 100s of hours on crunch time being completely unpaided while the CEO sits on their Yachts and mansions reaping all the benfits off the work of others. You ever wonder why video game developers at big companies are also some of the most depressed most under paid over worked people in the world?
This video shows how developers actually feel about working for greedy companies like PA.

Your disagreement with the penalties does not change anything to the fact BDO is PvPvE.
And if you don't get what "controled owpvp" means, think Lineage 2. Well, it's not like you didn't understand right from the start anyway.
BDO is what you want to do with it, I find it fun because I can take any road I want to gear up, I can even spend time on "useless stuff" if I feel in the mood for it, I meet conflicts with others players. And the game prevents players to practice the usual senseless speculation? Perfect.
But I'll be clear with you : if I have to explain to you why BDO is fun, then it's time for you to leave the game. Seriously. XD
