Lets look at the reality here: My Main is almost level 64. I have EIGHT level 62 & I'll have NINE by the end of the week!. (Your hightest is level 61!!!!)  I have played EVERY female class in BDO & most of the males. I am 301 AP. I have my Pots (PRE PITTY!) & Map. I have probably spent more time trying to get the Compass than you have played the game in 2 years. It took me 32 attempts to get my first Dream Horse. (I have four Dreams, 2 Pegis, 2 Uni, I made 3 of them!) At 9 T10 attempts. I have crafted the Sail Boat, Frigate, & Forest Wagon. And when I stop being lazy will have finished ALL the Boss Horse Armor sets. I have alts at EVERY single World Boss in the Game including Quint, Murka, & Vell. I have completed EVERY reincarnation of the BDO story. I know more of BDO's lore than all the Twitch Streamers & YouTubers. Hell it was my idea to have the Black Spirit Outfit & to lower the entry to getting Auto-Sprint. Check the logs!

O but I don't have the RNG of a God. On Sub 6% gambling. Wow better quit the game because you make excuses for it. Godr it's self is most likely a Bi-product of me and MANY others in forms complaining about Blackstar at its launch of being minus 20 Durability a tap at a time when getting memory fragments off the the MP was almost impossible & you had to run SCROLLS ONE AT A TIME!

Yeah lets talk about those days when PEN Boss Gear hardest challenge wasn't even the gambling it was the fact you had to spend weeks fishing and getting  5 man parties together spending hours one taping the slowest triple boss fight in the world, all while you tried not to put an icepick through your brain. Which is why back then the Pay to WIn was Artisans Memory! Pay us to not do the most boring task in the world so you can fail at gambling. That was precious! But we did it because we knew when we did it it was DONE! But then it wasn't...

You started 2 months before the first Season handed you TET Boss Gear. Gear that used to take people a YEAR to obtain. You don't know BDO half as much as think you do.

It was May of 2019 when BDO started this slow rot of power creep. Sycraia Underwater Ruins (Abyssal Zone) That is when PEN became mandetory the arms race of new gambling gear was about to begin. BDO once was an MMO. Before you started playing the moblie game version.

And side note if that IS your YouTube channel then this conversation is basically me doing a 30 day free trial of WOW and then telling you that you're wrong about everything; thats the Grand Canyon between us. You stay in your lane & ill stay in mine. Also if you add any of these predatory things into your game you can expect it to have this much hate as well so get used to arguing with people. All that aside, SophiaEris, I am glad the forum offers you a place to vent your frustrations about RNG -- >  RNG is unpredicable, risky, and unfair, objectively.  And it's clear to me this is another vent post.

That's the nature of RNG.  My IRL friend, who I must say, is INCREDIBLY RNG carried, complained that he "can't make a high stack because he keeps succeeding".  Me, a person who has bad to just below average luck if I'm lucky, heard that and was flabbergasted.  I was like, "Bro, don't even -- I made three 200+ stacks going for IV Blackstar and you over here complaining about tapping IV BS and V Boss consistently -- Don't even".  This, OFC, is out of fun, but I am not ashamed to say there's a slight edge of salt in there, seeing that RNG is objectively, and uncontrollably, unfair.  I can go on and on about how my friend's blessed account has carried his gear progression, but just take my word that the dude is RNG carried to the teeth, but he is skilled on his class and is my friend, so better him than some random person (copium) lool.

Anyway, it sucks, believe me, I know.  RNG is uncontrollable and unpredictable, that is the nature of it.  It's a big risk for a big reward.  t's just a part of the game.  Luckily, it's never been easier to progress...just grind.  Take smaller RNG risks and accumulate them over time.  IDK what else to say.  They won't change the enahncement system, only add alternatives to make it a little less mandatory.  I need 2x PEN Disto...IDK how I'm going to get them...but I'm gonna keep chugging along.  Combat in BDO is just too good and there are no other MMO's that interest me ATM.  Maybe in the future, there will be a better one.  Until then, GL in the casino and may your hard work pay off.

 Yeah I feel yeah man. We have a guy in our Guild he failed TET Manos like 20 times over a multi day peiord and then another guy just 1 taps it. Needless to say he went afk for a few weeks out of frustration.

Swapping out my weapons for Triple BS about 300 Billion give or take what mine sell for. 70 bil for another PEN Ring 130 Bil for a Deboreka Belt 300 Bil for PEN Distortions after selling my double TETs. 50-60 Bil to swap my Orge for Deboreka.

So around 860 Billion silver to finnaly take up the hunting lifeskill & enjoy being done with Gear. You figure around 500 mil an hour average so  1720 hours give or take. Say you have a job, a wife, maybe some kids, or just a life in general & you can safely play BDO 2 hours a night. Congratz after 2 years when you already have 301 AP you can finish your gear by just buying it. O wait that doesn't incude PEN Fallen God... See you in 3 years mate!

Thats assuming you don't try any new charcters or do any quest or anthing FUN you just grind Red Orcs, Gyfin, & Hexe.

Yo, I wonder how much money I can win at Tetris Tournaments if I invested 1720 hours mastering it? Maybe make back some of the 2grand I spent in BDO over 5 years on Quality of Life & Sub Fee's that aren't called Sub Fees. (And not a single penny of it used for gambling on gear FYI!)

My point is precisely that, for you or Senemedar : you make too much assumptions, "observations" as you called it. You don't have the data for it, you only have a partial information about the number of players and its fluctuations over time on a single platform.

Senemedar can't deduce from it that the one leaving are the ones who came in recently, nor can you deduce the reason why people are not staying.

Seriously though, are you sure "being done with it" is how you should approach MMOs? My 613gs is enough for me to enjoy the game. I don't like gambling, I don't spend on consumables and melting outfits. I have 10 free costume boxes just sitting in inventories and bs safe. I don't have problems with the enhancement system. It works just fine.

As an active person in sever chat and a guild (offficer for 4 years) I've seen a lot of faces come and go. People talk. Gear & feeling a lack of time vs reward are the top in game reasons. Real life is the third.

Imagine if gear had a soft cap that was affordable for all players while hardcore ones aiming for max stats had just some  advantage here and there instead of one shotting everybody. Imagine if PVP was enjoyable for all requiring also player skill instead of just player wallet. Imagine node wars being more popular instead of a niche of few whales constantly rerolling new classes that are intentionally OP released. Imagine being able to fight for your spots instead of immediately giving up as you know already how it goes and you always stay grinding with the hope nobody will ruin your day because you're unable to defend yourself.

My gosh, what a bad and unfunny game would be... everybody would quit for sure while today it's still the most played ever released with millions of new players every day....
