What mythical game is this, and why do they have such a high turn over rate? /s

I started way back in 2016 and realised very quickly the only content this game has is the combat and the grind. You know this yourself by now since unlike me you didn't quit for years. Combat was great, the community driven content was also great. GvG is some of my fondest memories in this game. 

You grind for gear, you grind for things like t9/10 horses. If you enjoy pvp you sit and murder people all day. Unfortunately, if you like pvp you get to compete against whales and are pushed in every way to the cash shop to enhance your gear so you don't get rolled over. This is a korean mmo, anyone with any knowledge about mmo's know that korean mmo's are grindy, pretty p2w cash grabs. If you dislike the practice you should never have been spending that $30 on each gamble. 

Be like me, quit for several years till you need to scratch the action combat itch for a few weeks! Or accept the game for what it is and enjoy it more casually. I feel no need to spend a penny since I no longer care for PvP, I finished getting my full pen on season servers and now I am probably done until next season ^^ My only goal in game now is get more T9 horses and level some alts :3

Well Black Desert wants you to pay to progress. Its kinda what this game is notorious for on the internet. The only people saying otherwise are the Korean Dev Simps who are going to defend the self masochistic system they are slaving for. Its like the old saying "Kill them until they are family" The Average BDO Endgame Elitist ran the hamster wheel or swiped their credit card so hard, they want the average normal human being who wont spend more than 100-200 to suffer for any form of progression. Its just simple human science. L

Another issue arising is the DROP in the value of items dropped at grindspots and trash loot not going up. But the items you want to save for (PEN ITEMS) going up nonstop. Its like running a race with a finish line that is running away from you. Theres no winning that race.

Pretty much to SUM up this whole thread thou. Your best bet is to NOT tap the item at all. And just buy the PEN version of the item you want. You're not going to tap pen. It's just not going to happen, quit fooling yourself. Let a whale do it for you, and buy their item once u got like 150B. Tapping PEN items is for streamers/rich whales/people better than you. 

Not trying to come off harsh. But a bit of truth is needed. Your middle/low class and thats why u wont tap the item. Just save for it.

Ya Im about there again. I generally come back for the seasons or if theres a good event. Right now I am 20-25 taps into my tet god-ry awaken weapon which is generally grinding money for costumes to cron it. Its just not worth it after a while and it gets old. Ive played since release but again i play maybe 4 months a year. Everyone I knew from release has quit.

The worst is accessories tbo, you got 10 oky cool lets go for pri and when you fail 5 at 75% its like ehhh ya no thanks. They def need to figure something out if they want to keep this game going.
